@Smosh150: That sounds good to me, you're right about the base building I'm just comparing one game and it's sequel, I think i just hated how downsized DoW2 felt only having a very tiny squad.
But as you said a World in Conflict style would also be great i loved that game a ton. Give me big armies, lots of options, abilities, and such and I'll be happy.
Not a big Battlefield or CoD fan but this looks more interesting than this year's CoD. I'm just happy it's WW1 a co-worker said it would be boring and no one big would do WW1 shows what he knows!
Hope its more DOW 1 than DOW 2, DOW 2 isn't bad, but it isn't DOW, they should have called it something different. I actually enjoy building armies, small bases, specializing within your own team etc. etc. running around with a squad shooting stuff and nothing else was really boring after a while. I want a DOW on a massive scale.
Here's hoping, but, this is Sega and after what happened to Company of Heroes I'll keep my expectations medium for now.
I'd like to see this work but, I am still skeptical, I'd like to see them return to PC gaming, maybe even make new games, but, they have a long ways to go, its nice to say it and all, but, they could get a lot of brownie points with PC gamers by offering some of their titles on other platforms and just give better deals/reasons to buy it for Windows App, i'll go where the best deals are but, when you lock down your ecosystem it seems like often they won't offer up better deals.
I would like to see it happen though, I hate seeing the garbage fly onto steams store-page, its as bad as google store and the apple store now with their mobile game infestations. There is plenty of room to offer superior services, GoG proved that most I think, but, i'd like to actually see them show us rather than tell us.
One of the few things Destiny did well, so that's a good thing in my book, the gunplay/ fighting is horrendous in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Having something play well will make all the fun toys we get a lot more enjoyable.
Well the laptop i'm typing on is running Windows 10, and connecting to Nvidia and downloading updates currently doesn't work, i can only get updates manually, so this seems like a stupid thing to do period.
My Win7 doesn't have an issue, and i enjoy just having it download from the software, however, as i said, i'm only getting updates for my laptop running Win10 because its available manually.
"It would be a bad business decision, let alone just dumb."
You know what else is dumb, family sharing that doesn't let you share
You know what was a bad business decision was, paid mods.
I like Steam and Valve, but, you've done some monumentally dumb things. Although i am happy that there won't be anything but video games on a Steam Store Page.
Honestly BF and COD feel boring, i would have liked to have seen something newer. I'll admit it was fun for a few hours, but, its the kind of game i play for those first few hours and then never pick up again. Wish there was just a little bit more there. But hey, people can like whatever they want, i'm just saying i don't think its worth $60+ USD.
