[QUOTE="Rocker6"]Yeah, though I'd call the gunplay flat-out bad, with no sugar coating. The firefights were the weakest parts of the game, often resulting in total frustration when facing a bunch of heavily armored bullet sponges. That's the fatal flaw, but to make it worse, the guns also have no weight to them, no sense of kick or power, and you never get the feel of shooting at humans, enemies simply don't react satisfyingly to bullets, a big dissapointment when you take into the account how well the animations look during scripted events.
And yeah, for me, the best part of the game was seeing where will it take me next, as well. Also, by not finishing it, you saved yourself a lot of frustration, the last level packs some of the most frustrating enemies ever, and the boss fight sucks... oh man, it sucks!

I've heard this so many times and never understood it. I loved the gunplay. When I shot fools in the head, they died. Did everyone play on Crushing straight off or what?Nah, played on normal, and a single playthrough was all I could bear with. I also remember plenty of enemies surviving headshots, even without any helmets.
The enemies took far too many bullets to die, and everything felt... loose. Also, I hated the sections where you were forced in a small area swarming with heavily armored enemies, like that train. Tight corridors, and aside from heavily armored shotgunners, you also get a chopper shooting at you all the time. Died a lot of times there, and ironically, the same level was one of the reasons why I really wanted to try UC2, looked great in the trailer, but for me, it was a frustrating mess.
Aside from the boss and the final level, another place that made me pull my hair out was some courtyard in that snowy temple, where you're holding the line against a bunch of armored thugs, and IIRC, later on, a few of those snow beasts join the "fun."
Really hated the mountan village as well, when it gets attacked by that damn tank.
