[QUOTE="Reaper6666"]

I don't agree that PC's are great for ALL genres... A lot, ok, but not all. Don't you guys find it easier to play games like tomb raider or Assassins Creed, the new batman on console?

You have all the controls within fingerreach, easy to look around, easier to make combo's and fast movements. And no lag because of lower graphic engines.

Not everyone has a great pc you know...

But I do agree with FPS, RTS, buildingsims, actually all simulators...

Captain__Tripps

TR works great on kb/mouse and any sort of third person action game does, if the developer puts 5 mintues of effort into it... Im pretty sure all the games you listed support a controller anyway, on pc.

I actually have to agree... With a controller a lot is possible with pc. But just to keep this topic on the right path:

I think pc's are best for RTS. As the other genres are quite playable on consoles... While RTS is just impossible to play on a PS3 or XBOX360.

Not without keyboard and mouse at least, but why do that effort?

Controlling things with a controller is nearly impossible and very very frustrating! I had C&C on PS once... For about 5 minutes... Threw it out the window.

reckless disregard for gravity

Tried that game. Hehe, know what you mean with a fresh look at games. Couldn't really enjoy it though...

In my search of exentric gaming, I even tried Osmos and Microsia. How Pathetic is that. :p

Thanks for all the replies already everyone.

Fallout, I thought about that one... As I did enjoy playing Oblivion and all... I just had a rather strange thought about the game. It looked more like a FPS. But I might give it a try.

Gangsters 1 and 2 are completed by me... :) Indeed good games, but at one point too easy. And Gangsters 2 had some flaws. But indeed, that is a good game for me.

One other game that came to mind now was Calibre something something. Calibre 66? A number... I enjoyed playing that one too, but it moved to slowly, and one mission had a bug so I got stuck in the storyline. Had to meet a guy somewhere and he never showed up...

Fable was also a great game. Maybe a little to easy, but really a great game. I haven't tried the second one yet, but maybe that's worth a try too?

So I've got some great RPG-adventure recommendations. Thanks for that. Anyone knows a reeeaaally good "tycoon" game? Lots of freedom? I think I've tried them all... With no success. Tried Capitalism 2, but way to boring. No intruigement there...

No storyline games anyone? Like mount and blade?

You guys are being a great help here. Thanks!!!

Runescape is online right? I don't like that so much... Online games. That takes away too much of my time. and you get addicted. :)

Tropico 3 I've played. Was a fun game, but didn't have a lot of differences with the first one, except the graphics. So I got bored of that one rather quickly.

Oh yeah, and you do can buy keyboards for consoles and mouses... just put them in the USB plug.

I do have to agree that a controller on pc changes a lot... But then you still have the graphical issue.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I also enjoy no storyline games like Mount and Blade. That kind of expands the freedom you have.
