Didn't play the demo though, so I don't know the differences. Tell me about the limitations and I'll tell you about the differences.

quijeros

The demo included the tutorial and two single player missions. There was no random map generator. Also, many of the buildings were locked, namely those for tourism and those that supplied and required electricity. Otherwise, everything else was available. There was no playtime restriction except for the scenario time limit or completing the scenario early, but there was a workaround for that.

I'll probably start downloading it from Steam either this afternoon or tomorrow.

There is no random map generator. You can only play on existing maps. But there are plenty, so that's not really an issue. Maybe there is a way to design your own maps, but that I don't know.

Tourismbuildings include several accomodations, based on the classes that you want to attract. High status tourists require nice hotels, runned on electricity. So you'll have to have that first. You've got beachvilla's, a skyscrapehotel, a motel for the poorer class, a normal hotel and a luxuryhotel.

Then you have the attractions for the tourists. These include a zoo, a botanic garden, a sightseeingstand, a lookoutpoint, a beachresort, a spa, swimmingpool, casino, and probably some more that I forgot.

For electricity you have only one building. That's the powerplant. And a substation, just as in the first Tropico. Other buildings that require electricity are special housing facilities, the hospital, tv station, cinema, and more.

There normally is no playtime restriction. You play from 1950 to 2000, but when that time is over, you can continue playing if you want. Ofcourse in the missions you do sometimes have a timelimit like you said.

I'll give that Cryostasis a go.

And maybe Fallout 3.

Good point... Agree.

But still, if you don't have a very great pc, some games just play better on consoles... If you have a mediocre pc, and play assassin's creed, it works better on ps3.

I've played the full version of Tropico 3.

Didn't play the demo though, so I don't know the differences. Tell me about the limitations and I'll tell you about the differences.

What I can tell you, is that you can choose out of a lot of dictators, mostly the same as in the first Tropico. You have about... at least 15 to 20 different maps to play on. You can develop your own challenges, but I'm not that good at it.

I didn't complete the whole storymode, but I guess you have about... 30 missions or more?

The rest of the game is mostly the same as the first one. Only in 3D, great music, beautiful islands etc.

I think "This is Vegas".

Looks like a promising game, if they develop it right... Either way it's going to be a great game, or a very big flop.

RTS ( how the hell can you play that on a console whitout having a mouse and a keyboard.. )

First Person Shooters ( the difference between call of duty on the PC and on the Xbox is so huge )

Maxmus050

Yeah the guild 2 was a pretty good game... But you had to focus breeding to much.

Anno 1404: I haven't tried that one yet. But did play all the other in the series. So that bores me as well...

Oh yeah, and you do can buy keyboards for consoles and mouses... just put them in the USB plug.

I do have to agree that a controller on pc changes a lot... But then you still have the graphical issue.

KHAndAnime

No, I don't think you can. And if you have a half-way decent PC, the only graphical issues will be being able to stand looking at console games.

Yes you definately can...
