in a moment i am lost,

dying from the inside,

her eyes take me away,

tear me apart from the inside out...

Biohackers is a new German tv-show. i just saw the trailer this morning. not sure what to think yet, but it looks intruiging. Dark has definitely renewed my faith in German shows.

the thing is in the game itself finish moves are brutal, but never scary in any way, because there is no story built around the killing. fatalities and brutalities are almost comical. and you can just pick the same character in the next match too, the deaths have zero impact gameplay- or storywise. a movie might change this perspective.

Memento is my favourite movie of all time. I absolutely love when filmmakers are innovative in their storytelling (like most Kauffmann movies too!).

"The Urza trio is really important to the game if you're trying to build up a mana pool. Sure, it's all colorless mana, but if you have all three of the cards in play, you can add seven colorless to your pool per turn by tapping these cards. And that mana can come in handy if you're casting something like Fireball or any other spell that takes X colorless mana to strengthen it."

That sounds like straight out of a 90's guide :P

That being said, i always digged panorama art, basic lands used to often have them too. It's like this little amazing thing no one wrote about (back then) and you just found out for yourself at some point.

As a regular Mtg player who loves the game itself i have to say the extra-sets they bring out do look extremely disgusting and greedy though. Now every set has a collector's edition. I know it's extremely unlikely, but with all this business i wouldn't really be surprised by a "power 9 - extended art" - spellbook for 4000€ in the coming years. it is pretty much what they are doing already with these master sets.

there are about 2-3 games released each year that i really want, so i'm fine with this. graphics- and performance-wise games get better and better, even if the gameplay hasn't really changed much in the last 10 years, so i think it's only fair.
