@thebadjesus: they did improve the AI over time. in demon's/dark souls you could just strafe around the enemy and get a backstab. you can technically still do that, but since ds3 a lot of enemies now have countermeasures like hitting to the side with their shield or dodging backwards. this is not a game about enemies working together, having relationships with each other (like good ol' "cards tonight?" - "yeah, yeah") or noticing dead bodies of their comrades. even though there's some mention of george martin this is still a game which focuses on gameplay 99%. you might also notice that some enemies attacks take foreeeeeeever, to throw you off your dodge/parry timing. if you play demons' souls/dark souls and afterward play elden ring (or ds3) you'll see that the attack patterns of the newer games are really build around how players use to defeat enemies. it's really well done.

@hardwenzen: which is a shame, because if they would they would find an amazing game. i think part of the hate might also come from the fact that the story is extremely grounded and mature. kids and teens (and those with an equivalent emotional intelligence) want a clear hero and a clear villain like in the Marvel movies. Not only showing us Abby's perspective, but letting us play with her for half the game was the boldest, most interesting thing they could have done. When "Seattle Day 1" appeared on the screen for the second time i almost lost it (factoring in that on top of being able to play with Abby it revealed to me that i was only at the halfway point after close to 30 hours).

Yeah, i mean we don't need to talk about attention to detail anymore as this game easily set a new bar for that, but that all the notes had different handwritings and were completely readable without using the reading help option helped immensly with the immersion (among other things of course). I know i already fanboyed the street signs and wall deco on another article, but this stuff just isn't the standard in gaming. i hope it will be at some point.

I hope it will be good. I love Dishonored, one of the few First-Person games that excite me and make that perspective worthwile. It definitely looks like they are trying to be innovative, so i hope in the end it all comes together and works well in the gameplay.

i really love that song he did with Chino (Deftones). "from the top to the end, you got your razors out" something in that style would be cool.

i'm excited for this! i liked the storytelling in both games a lot and if the same director is part of the writing process that is a good sign to start off with. of course there are more connections to a character you play with and make decisions for than a character in a tv-series, but i dare to say i'm very open-minded. so let's see what they can do!

the price makes sense. you pay for the overpriced popcorn and drinks like you ususally would in the cinema, only this time you need to make them yourself. I'm almost certain a family business like Disney will give a cut to all the cinemas in the world to make up for their losses ;)
