Isn't it interesting how 'Goodnight' can be properly written as 'Good night' or 'Goodnight'? However, 'Good morning can only be properly written as 'Good morning' Now you know.. and knowing is half the battle !
The way I see it is, if there's a series of games you enjoy (for example, Uncharted, Halo, Zelda...etc..) then the review doesn't matter. As long as it's 6 or higher you're going to enjoy it to some degree. If the game is brand new or you're new to the series, then the review matters. Why? Because you aren't even sure if you enjoy the core gameplay. So if there's a new game (Like Neverdead) that get's a 6, it's risky to buy & play the game. I generally only go for games that are 7.5 or higher if it's a new game or series I've yet to play.
What the hell was the point of this article? None of these companies are going to just stop. They still sell. They are well-known & can easily bring it bucks with a slight boost of innovation; which they all are known to provide.
@Boochie Understandable...but if you're gonna throw down tons of cash for a shiny new console, why bother with previous console's games? The new shiny one has games too..
I never understood the importance of backwards compatibility. If you're buying a new console, don't you want to play new games on it? Brush the dust off your old console if you want to continue to play games on it. Problem solved.
