I agree that it certainly doesn't jibe with the ultra-realism they are going for but it's certainly more fun from a gameplay standpoint. I was thinking the same thing when I played Black Ops for the first time so I went back and played games like Half Life and the original Halo and it's just obnoxious to have to go back and look for health packs. It's not realistic. Hopefully, people realize that. If they don't, then there are certainly problems but as long as people know you can't take bullets with no repercussions, I don't see this as a bad way to go with Medal of Honor. If you are looking for more realistic approaches to military shooters, there are alternatives out there too.

@Psycold It's tough to judge all video game movies since most have been directed by Uwe Boll who could have the best source material in the world and still mess it up. He didn't direct any of the movies you mentioned but he does make up the majority of video game movies still (In the Name of the King 1 and 2, Postal, Bloodrayne 1/2/3, Far Cry 1 and 2, Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead, Rampage).

There have been some good video game movies. I personally enjoyed the Silent Hill movie (something many fans often cite as a misnomer in Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic) and they are making a sequel to that soon, as well. And hey, people used to think comic book movies would never work. Somebody will figure out a good way to do video game movies, it's just a matter of when.

Isn't that director also doing the Fantastic Four reboot? So... what? He's doing two movies at once?

@Kiiath Maybe we're playing on different difficulties/with different characters but I actually feel that D3 is too easy. I've never once come close to dying and have only even used a healing potion once or twice. This could be because I chose the Barbarian character and have been making sure to do all the side quests so he's been leveling up well but idk. I do agree with the character customization though, definitely. I get what they are trying to do with D3 level ups but I think it makes it way more boring than level ups in D1 and 2. I just feel the levels come with very little to no weight. I may or may not get a power I actually want and several times will get runes for skills I'm not even using.

@xhawk27 I'm sure they know about the future updates but they can't review a game based on what may or may not come in the future. They have to review what is out right now.

@shin_kick_you - I highly disagree with you. First of all, thanks for saying that all gamers have the same ideology and don't interact with non-gamers. I appreciate the stereotype. Personally, I got my first gaming console when I was three years old and have gamed since then (I'm 21 now). That being said, I probably have more non-gamer friends than gamer friends. Secondly, I find myself disagreeing with many people on this site and others, as well as friends so I know that we don't all have the same ideologies and therefore, blanket statements like "your views are actually very strange" cannot be accurately stated.

Sorry for the double post but I couldn't write this in because of the character count on the last message. I believe the new features that @-squirrel- was talking about were the Spot-Pass/Street-Pass (depending on the region you're from) system which connects 3DS's automatically, the 3D effects without glasses, the online capabilities of the DSi but with more advanced technology, the integration of Mii's into both the Wii and the 3DS, connecting the two potentially significantly, and the ability to use the 3DS as a media device much like the PSP. While not all the tech is entirely new or original, it's certainly unfair to call it an "N64 with a 3D slider."

@taxonomic - The way you're talking about the PSP2 was the same way I remember people talking about the PSP when it was first coming out. People were all excited about the amazing graphics and the fact that it doubled as a media device but then it came out and the games all sucked. For me it was probably the most disappointing console I have ever owned and that's saying a lot since I've owned the majority of them from the past 20 years, console and handheld alike. Now, I'm not trying to piss off Sony fanboys, the PSP does have some good games now like Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Valkyria Chronicles 2, both God of War games, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII but all of these came out several years later. I can't tell you how many times I'd pop in Kingdom of Heaven or Legend of Heroes or Tomb Raider and would stop within a few hours, never to touch it again for months. Regardless of the 3DS's high price point, scary number of ports and titles with "3D" in the name, I believe Nintendo deserves the benefit of the doubt much more than Sony if we judge based off the last generation. Better yet, I believe that assumptions are for people with money to waste and if you want to make the smart decision, wait and see how each console fares and then judge for yourself. Oh for the record, tax, sorry for using you as an example. You're not even close to the first person I've heard saying this stuff, just the first I saw that I felt like commenting on. Don't mean to pick on ya =)
