@stanknuggetz12 I agree with you completely. Sony's conference didn't really show us anything new, but thats only because they had already showed a few PS4 exclusives in their Feb event. The way I see it games wise both the systems are neck and neck - Xbox One has Titanfall, Halo 4 and Ryse which I am very much interested in, and the PS4 has Killzone Shadowfall & Second Son which piqued my interest. Yes, the MS press conference was more game-centric than Sony's and if Sony's GaiKai cloud service will help developers offload processing onto the cloud (which I sincerely hope it does in intereset of betterment of gaming in genereal), then yes, even the PS4 games will require an online connection. BUT, the PR stunt they pulled in that conference added onto the PS4's advantage of being a 100$s cheaper than the Xbox One. I will eventually get both the consoles, but I intend to pick up the PS4 at launch, at the moment, with how the things are, I don't intend to pick up the Xbox One just yet...
Man.. can't wait for this years E3... a new generation of consoles... Its gonna be brilliant. Really eager for the PS4 hardware unveil. For me, the launch titles will decide which console I'll be getting first. TBH though, inclined towards the PS4 unless Sony comes out with a similar DRM/Used games policy, which I have a strong feeling they will.
@TheWalkingGhost Nah, McShea is a hard man to please. An 8 from him means its definitely worth the pre-order. I don't think he's ever given a game a 9...
@JoniSykes @Keitha313 @Prithwiraj The choice whether or not I want to use the entire features of a game when I'm paying for it? hmm, never thought about it that way.
And by the way, I paid exactly the same amount for both the systems.
@GBram1981 @Keitha313 Dunno about you, but I had bought the 360 to play games. The other bits were extras. Now it seems like its the other way around, with they focusing so much more on it being a "All-in-One" console, it seems like the main purpose of it is sidelined. Don't get me wrong, not a big fan of Sony trying to market their console as a social networking hub either.
Also, most of the TV services showcased on here were US only, or will be for a long period after the console is launched.
@Keitha313 @Prithwiraj And its not even about the amount of money you have to pay. We shouldn't have to pay at all.. If PC and PS3 can do it, so can MS. And people, don't gimme the bullshit about how Live is so much better than PSN. I can play multiplayer games on the PS3 just as well as i do on the 360.
