@DeadManRollin: Online multiplayer-based games in particular SHOULD be relooked at a few years down the road. They often more than triple in content, and redefine many of their in game systems based on balance on player feedback. If someone comes to this site to see the review of a 3 year old game, and the game isn't even remotely like that review anymore, they wouldn't be getting very reliable information.

Reviews aren't trophies to be earned. They are a source of information for consumers to use in decision making.

@systemoverload: It has improved tremendously since 2016. An 8 or a 9 is a really accurate score for this game. If you are on the fence, try it out.

Games can be good (like this one is) without nice visuals, including animations. Your ridiculous complaint that the game can't be very good based on animations is silly at best. Games are good games because of how fun they can be, and this is a fun game. /conversation

@troopertrooper: Just about every online competitive game is toxic. It isn't reserved just for this game. League, Overwatch, Br games... all toxic.

**Edit: Furthermore, what does Fall Guys have to do with this? They aren't even the same genre. For people that like horror-themed asymettrical 4v1 gameplay, they aren't trying to decide between DbD and FALL GUYS. What a weird recommendation.

@phili878: Because, believe it or not, graphics are not the only thing that makes a game good. Surprising, I know.

This was a much needed update to the old review. The game is fantastic. I have well over 1400 hours in it on Steam. Very addicting.

The video made me somewhat interested in the game, but I am not a fan of Spiderman being exclusive. So probably a pass for me.
