@hardwenzen: To shy away from things meant for children to be a child yourself. Real adults can play kid games and still have fun.

Honestly, I think M rated bloodfest games are more immature myself, just because THAT is what teenagers think is cool. In the end, who really cares. I pity an adult that can't find entertainment value in superhero stuff because they are afraid of appearing childish.

The DLC that is free in the Witcher 3 isn't something that is particularly appealing anyway though. The "expansions" are what I consider the actual DLC

@matricks_: IDK man, it could be a lot of fun. Especially given the subtitle: it might be the whole Justice League. The bosses of the game could be the likes of Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, etc. That could be really neat, if each section of the game transitioned to a new member you have to deal with.

It's just a cinematic trailer, but if the actual game keeps this tone, it could be GREAT fun.

@mrbojangles25: Batman is DC's flagship character, like it or not. He is the most popular of their heroes, and will pull crowds into theaters like none of their other heroes can. That is why we keep getting Batman.

@matricks_: He has a few tremendous films under his name. Yes, Watchmen was great. But so was 300, and his take on Dawn of the Dead.

Is this part of the Arkham games continuity?

Either way, I was very conflicted about Batman dying, but by the end of the trailer, I was feeling it. The tone seems very dark, and that will be a strength.

I predict that Batman is not dead by the end of the game. Either he wasn't dead all along, or is brought back via Lazarus Pit by the end.

How WB handled the DCEU is actually tragic. You have a bunch of actors that actually do well in their parts. Like, they fit them well! Affleck is actually a good Batman, Cavill pulls off Superman. WW is GREAT, Aquaman is GREAT.

Like, what the actual hell! This should have been a great cast that could have pulled a dozen shared universe movies off. But the writers just kicked the hell out of the story. They rushed into the cameos and team ups too quickly without proper world building, produced uninspiring and half-baked plots, and watered down the universe with trash like the first Suicide Squad, and then to top it all off, keep going back and forth on whether they want to reboot the whole thing or double down on the mess they created.

It really sucks because there is literally no salvaging this mess, no matter what they do. The story is already so screwed. But the cast was actually reaaaaally good, and I feel like the only way they can restart their universe is to pull the plug and start over from scratch.
