I'm kinda new at this so heres my question...

I recently purchased a 40 inch samsung 1080p tv that can do 120 hz, it looks amazing, particularly when using my ps3 on it. But my xbox looks not so nice. I have one of the old non-hdmi xboxs and am only running composite cables on it. The picture quality, or rather the graphics do not look as impressive as my ps3 which is using a high end hdmi cable.

I've been told that this has to do with the refresh rate running at 120 hz on my ps3 versus a 60hz composite connection on my xbox. Basically I'd just like to take advantage of my hi def gamibg with my xbox so im thinking of upgrading to an elite.

Does this make a diffference with the xbox? Does the xbox have anything to do with 120hz? I'd appreciate any help on the matter, thanks!

would purchasing an elite make a difference in graphics? considering the refresh rate its running at when compared to the ps3?

Since we all apparently have a love for video games I'm curious as to how many of you work-insome from or another-in the video game industry. I'm currently a junior in college majoring in creative writing but i work for a merchandising company in Los Angeles. The company I work work for is contracted by all the big names in the industry and I make weekly visits to different stores and make sure things are a certain way. Its not a exactly working for Blizzard as a tester of anything but its still kinda cool.

For example next week I'm taking in a lot of Modern Warfare 2 signage and what not to my stores. I have to say its the perfect job for me while I'm in college particularly because of the hours and the fact that I love games so much. Being that I live in Los Angeles I even get to go to E3!

So any of you do anything in the industry?
