You're in a minority if you hated it. But the game does start out waayyy to slow in my opinion. I still put it as my game of the year for 2010. If you can get passed the tedious beginning it's an amazing experience.
yes. but I'll be the first to admit it's not for everyone. however, if you're into rpg's from the 90's and haven't played chrono trigger than prepare to be amazed.
I'd love to see a complete reimagining of Resident Evil. I"m a huge fan of 4 and 5 was decent. But it's definitely time for something new. I also wish someone could do something amazing with Contra.
We're only a few weeks from knowing. I have trouble believing Nintendo will truly go all out with this system as some have reported. With that in mind I have a feeling it will be a mid point in generations between this one and the one Sony and Microsoft wish usher in a few years from now. But I hope it will be nex gen. Having said that, maybe what Nintendo does do with next system, as has been in the past, will define what the next generation will be. Go big N!
Yes. I turned 30 this passed Saturday and I still love gaming. But....now that I'm 30 I simply don't have as much time for gaming. Now I have an 8 month old daughter, a wife and a home. After grad school and everything else that's changed over the last ten years my priorites got shuffled around without my necessarily knowing it. It just happens. And that's a good thing when your in my position. When I was 19 I didn't necessarily have a whole lot more time for playing games. But back then I would make time for gaming. Sometimes I'd even take a day off work or skip class to be there on launch day or just because I felt like it. Playing games was high on my priority list.
Things are different now. While i still love to play games and some upcoming releases are going go to be highlights of the year for me, my priorities are in a different order now. I'll finish whatever I need to before I play games no matter what. At times going days or even weeks without playing. Sad I know. But that's part of maturing. Nevertheless I'm on this site and others like it everyday. My heart is still in it.
Spelunker, Legend of Kage, Ikari Warriors and Wizards and Warriors come to mind. Contra III Alien Wars is an all time classic for me but I'm not sure I'd want anyone to ruin it lol.

"Bioware are dumbing down their games how is that a evolution?"
I see it as AN evolution and less of a "dumbing" down. Perhaps its because Bioware knows they can reach a larger audience by injecting less of the dungeon crawling "D&D" aesthetic that was more present in their earlier work. I didn't like those games much and I'm definitely not a "dumb" guy, not that you were inferring that. KOTOR was their first project that got me interested, I loved it in fact. I feel they are trying to create as close to a perfect marriage of game play and storytelling and consequently they are not going to please everyone. I can appreciate where you're coming from though. But what they've been doing works for me. P.S. Nice avatar. I'm a big Tool fan myself. Two of the best shows I've ever been to were Tool shows. Pomona, Ca 1996 and at the Wiltern Theater in LA in 2001.
