Most nostalgic game?

Mine is any game on the PS1, like FFVII, Metal gear solid, spyro, and crash. What games bring back wonderful childhood memories?

Ha, I was thinking about this earlier today... Probably things like PS1 games such as the first "Spyro" and "Crash Bandicoot" games. I'll always remember those :) Good times.

For me, any of the original Sonics on Genesis, or maybe Oregon Trail :P

I forgot to mention the PS2 Medal of Honor franchise, they always brought a smile to my face :D

SNES: legend of zelda, contra 3, chrono trigger, street fighter 2 turbo,

N64: legend of zelda, conkers bad fur day, goldeneye, resident evil 2

ps1: metal gear solid, resident evil, final fantasy 8

gc: eternal darkness, resident evil 4, resident evil

ps2: silent hill 2, final fantasy x, devil may cry

xbox: max payne, halo, kotor

pc: world of warcraft, half life and counter strike

not complete but pretty close

add the metroids for nes, snes and gc too!

Definitely Super Mario Bros for NES. I remember when I was a little kid and my cousin gave me her NES and a copy of Super Mario Bros with the encouragement of my grandmother. Needless to say, my mother was pissed because all I would do is play it all day long. Good times lol

Pretty much all the games you said except Final Fantasy. Never played it.

Although Super Mario Bros. got me interested in video games, Super Mario 64's memorable worlds still captivate me and bring me the best nostalgic memories of any game.

Streets of Rage II, Sega Genesis

Metal Gear on the NES. Metal gear 1 and 2 came out on PS2 with MGS3 and that was pretty cool as my NES and SNES broke ages ago.

Crash Bandicoot XS on the GameBoy... The one you had to hold up to a light or a window before they bought in the GBA...

Ocarina of Time, no question. Every once in a while I hear a song from that time and it immediately makes me think of the game... Sometimes even a specific part of the game!

No seriously though, whenever I think of nostalgic games, I don't think of old games I've played but new modern remakes or re-imaginations of old games that are made with today's standards. For example, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Street Fighter IV, Punch-Out Wii, etc.

Doom, Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn/Sun/Red Alert, Tetris, any old Zelda game, Metroid...too many to name :lol:
