People tend to say this every year. Every year there's some other game that will beat CoD. And as much as I'd like it to happen, it never tends to work out. It's not just the actual game that matters, it's the publicity and brand recognision that makes it so hard to topple.
Ask any non-gamer if they know what titanfall is. Chances are they wont.

Why would you half the fire rate on the DSR 50? I haven't played the game in like a year but the only decent guns were SMGs and ARs, and all the maps were close quarters clusterfucks.
Domain names are very important. A lot of people just type things into the adresss bar rather than searching, if your company's domain isn't obvious and easily guessable then you can lose a lot of traffic and people can take a lot of money away from your company.
