Now when people say FFII do they mean the GBA/PS1 remake or the original NES?

Because...I dunno II is one of my favorite games of all time. Of course I could be really weird...Dual Wielding plays a big role to boost your physical attack and your HP, and I liked the leveling system...yeah I guess I'm crazy.

To me the hardest is 3.

If it takes a couple of months for GT6 to be upscaled to the ps4 I'd rather wait for the ps4...if though...all these games that are announced aren't going to be upscaled at all and are going to stay on their respective rumored consoles then I want no part of the ps4 until deep into the ps4 lifecycle.

I personally can't. While the Xbox was a fine system, its few great exclusives can't match the PS2's HUGE list of amazing content. Also, I like RPGs so its easy to see why I would prefer the PS2.

MicrosoftVP_Ted

There are Rpgs on the Xbox, and few exclusives is a misinformation. I would suggest further research.

Your system war tactics can't fool me!

I wonder how nonexistent the load times will be with how the ps4 can multitask! That is a big thing I'm pumped for. I think this generation is going to end the loading screen, and at the current Specs the ps4 will pump out AMAZING games in the coming years. 8GB for video game ram is more than plenty...Look at GT5 for example ... look how nice that is taking one of the formula 1 ferraris and driving around Circuit de Spa....That looks beautiful today. This console is 10x the power of that.

I just find it funny that a couple of years ago, every industry expert was insisting that physical media was 100% dead, no future console would ever have an optical disk drive, everything would be download only.

Jackc8

That is funny I remember those days too...but I guess since we are the eve of the next generation everybody is starting to see how much data these games will actually take for DD. I mean look at the specs of the ps3 and size of games...and now with a system that is over 10x more powerful what will the size be of those games. :|

I just got nascar 2011 and Im trying to play online. But every time I click on a race there is no one there to race against or maybe only 1 or 2 ppl where do I go to find other players or what games on there do I play to find the most playersbadassdon42

If you wanted the game for online racing you should've gotten Inside Line or Gran Turismo 5...

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/02/23/ps4-sony-sees-a-disc-based-future

[QUOTE="IGN"]

Sony's Jim Ryan has told IGN that Blu-Ray discs will still be the PlayStation 4's dominant delivery mechanism for games, despite a wider move towards a more connected console.

But although Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's president and CEO sees the trend towards digital downloads continuing, he still sees a primarily disc-based future for the console.

"Clearly, and this applies not just to games but to pretty much every form of entertainment, there is a trend to increased digital consumption, and that is happening now on PS3 and will continue and will probably accelerate on PS4," he told IGN. "But the primary delivery mechanism for the big games on the PS4 platform will continue to be Blu-Ray discs, for the foreseeable future."

What counts as the forseeable future? Five years? "That sort of horizon, yes," Ryan agrees. The reasoning behind this is that PS4 games will take up so much space that in many parts of the world, downloading them just won't be realistic.

Disc-based games still to be the majority.

Along with this and no used games blocking it seems the traders, collectors and other persons who prefer physical have nothing to fear.

Sounds like people who generally prefer digital will also have their choice. Great news!

That is good because there are still many areas where internet connectivity is not so hot. And to download games that would be as large on the PS3 let alone next gen games would be still a ridiculous amount of bandwidth data.
