Great article. I mostly buy used whenever its A) Ridiculously cheaper B) When its a title I'm unsure about or C) Older games. I don't think used sales are as hurtful as piracy is to the industry but I know it has some impact. Quite honestly I view games like books/movies/art /ect the creators want their work to be appreciate and loved so whenever I truly enjoy I try to remember to buy future releases new or something from the same creator as long as its something I'm interested in, as a way of showing my support.. However it is f@#!@ annoying when I see a game I purchased a couple of weeks ago go down considerably in price. That's when I'm motivate even less to purchase games new. In the end its case by case kind of thing, some games deserve support some don't. I have to look out for what's best for me economically otherwise who is going to?
Man Gamespot that was deep. Interesting stuff. I'm all for localisation but I would not mind more options geared towards being able to listen to original audio with subtitles. Its the same with movies. Translations/localisation are awesome but you can't beat the original.
I enjoy a good trailer as much as the next guy however it frustrates me to no end when I can't make sense of what the game is about. I think trailers should serve as an appetizer to a game, something that gives you a slight taste and feel for what's coming. Demo's are better at that for gameplay and screenshots are better at showing what it will look like. Overall a trailer should show a bit of gameplay, a bit of flair, and give us glance at what's in store. Maybe if they would release two trailers one story/cinematic and one purely gameplay it would work. In the end as long as they're making the trailer to show what the game is and not to build hype for it I'm set.

That's disgusting. No way should anyone suffer verbal bullying for their opinion. Honestly it wasn't that bad of an idea and more importantly as its been said before its not like she wanted content removed she just talked about adding a feature. I'm all for criticism but "cun*", "wh**e" etc isn't criticism. Its just plain insulting. These people give gamers a bad name.
