So I was completing quest six and when I reached the point where you tell the girl if you read the letter or not, I said, "no". Apparently I was supposed to say "yes" to finish this quest. Did I screw myself over?
Soul Calibur Legends. I regret the day I bought it. Whenever a new friend comes over, they see this game and immediately want to play it. They figure it is like the other SC's or whatever. But it isn't. It just sucks. It sucks when you play it, and it sucks even more after watching someone play it.
A selfish character would be interesting. Cloud would be more concerned about returning to his own world than saving the crystals. This would cause tension between him and the protagonists. Cloud would start off as a lone wolf, and after time, slowly bond with the characters as the plot progresses.
Just try not to make him emo Cloud from Advent Children or sissy Cloud from Crisis Core (the compilation seems to be really intent on dragging his name through the dirt...).
Either is fine, as long as it feels like a Final Fantasy game. If it has the classic FF mainstays (Chocobos, Cid, etc.) and doesn't feel like a different game series (i.e., Phantasy Star), then any plausible setting would work well.
