How so? Four guys came into a store prepared to kill people for money and they got killed in return. Sounds like "do unto others..." was upheld perfectly in this instance.
Really? It's "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." I doubt anyone wants to be shot dead.
Anyway, it's a double standard when it's wrong to kill people (case of the robbers) and then it's alright to kill people (case of the store owner). You can add whatever qualifiers you want, but they mean nothing. Who's to say the morals of the robber ("kill for money," although it isn't known if he'd actually do that) are wrong in comparison with the owner's ("kill in defense," although we can't actually know if he thought that)? I mean, when two people have two separate things they'd kill for, who can really say who's motivation is "right"? If killing's alright in one case, it's alright in all cases, and vice-versa.
