Morals don't weaken. The thing is that young people are taught to act a certain way or face consequences from parents, etc. ... Then they get older, form their own opinions, and act on those instead. All that happens is that people stop following what they were taught because they learn to question it ... it's not at all about weakening morals, it's about developing or discovering morals.
