Ive been using strays as bookmarks, but recently i found a shoebox of them in an old cabinet... i didnt know how many id aquired!

I bought most of my cards like 13 years ago...around 94 - 96. A bunch of them are listed here, lots of which i own, even duplicates. If anyone knows... would i be able to trade them at a card store? And...

Are

They

Worth

MONEY?

lol, the hype's pretty much dead so I don't think you'll gain a lot from them.

There is quite a market for Magic cards. Though, most of the market is in tournament play, and many older cards are illegal for use in tournaments.

Those cards are from the Alpha set, and yes they are worth that much and the Beta set is worth a lot too especially the Power Nine cards (Black Lotus, Mox Pearl, Mox Sapphire, Mox Jet, Mox Ruby, Mox Emerald, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, and Timetwister)

But most of those cards have been reprinted in the Revised, 4th edition - 11th edition sets and they loose value. The more rare cards (Power Nine & Choas Orb) and they haven't been reprinted.

yeah I used to own a comic shop

Those are some very old, pretty rare cards, I'm sure you could sell them for as much as they are listed in that website if you know where to go, no problem.

No, they're practically worthless. Trust me.

But just to help you out, I could take them off your hands. In fact, I'd be willing to do so for free. Think about it.

Actually, Magic was around before pokemon and yu-gi-oh even existed, and it's a much better card game than either of those: much more involved, more strategic, and more complex.
