the use of 1080p graphics is not wide spread in the console gaming world, imho, the biggest change will be the use of 1080p graphics with a minimum fps of 60, which will in turn make the games run and seem silky smooth, apart from that we will be able to see more realistic physics and much much more dynamic particles, objects, etc...
maybe these will not stand out as much as the difference from the previous generation to this one but the next one will be, hopefully, introducing the above mentioned... :)
kudos for selecting a game showing tremendous innovation in many aspects of gaming tropes... it is a well deserved win for "that game company"...
i can understand why people are upset but if you compare it to the other nominees journey holds its position by being unique and neither derivation of a genre nor a sequel to an established franchise, of course imho... :)
i absolutely love playing games as a sniper and having found out that stealthiness works in far cry 2 (although when the enemies got aware that someone was taking them out, they all ran straight to you, which was kind of annoying, but fun nevertheless), i only used that method in far cry 3... :)
actually this game is an improvement over farcry 2, which already was a spectacular game, which wasn't appreciated by the gaming community... back when i was playing it, it seemed like everyone was disliking it extensively, which seemed a bit odd...
anyways, great game, enjoying it a lot atm, i'll definitely finish up the story but i might get distracted with the various side quests and challenges... :)
