although i can relate to the desire of a truly mobile and packed-with-features gaming experience, i do think it is meant only for the casual gaming market, where you do not need to invest most if not all of your attention to the game you are playing... as for competitive online or face to face gaming, i feel the need to be immersed in what i am playing and the large screen coupled with a decent surround sound system are an integral part of this immersion level...

we are catching the first glimpses of either vr or non-vr commercial headsets incorporating virtual / real surround sound and the feeling of a large screen, however they are nowhere near where our expectations lie... i can see that in the coming twenty years this might change drastically, however i still would prefer to rant / shout / swear (it happens every now and then) freely about how cheap the opposing team scored or the opposing player fragged me alone in my living room...

ps: these are my personal feelings, i can relate to people who do not have the freedom as i have and require a portable and less volume consuming experience, but believe you me, i find gaming much more fulfilling, when i do have my own large screen and loud surround sound without anything attached to my head (oh, wait, i use a bt headset for online chat)...

idk, if it is an age thing. i am 37, i have never been in a fight but i do enjoy going on a rampage in the video games as well. not because of its violance but i guess because of its absurdity. i have been gaming since i was 7, started out with a sinclair zx spectrum, and i love experimenting in games. if the developers are providing enough variety to personal preference, i try to do as much possible until everything becomes repetitive in the game and i toss it away. on the other hand i play video games because they are offering another perspective on situations and it is always fun to explore the set choices and extremes of the developers' visions without any repercussions in one's life.

when i come to think of it, good games, regardless of their generation, are simply good games and attract a lot of interest... their sequels attract even more people within the next generation... killzone, red dead, gow series, etc are the first ones to pop up in my head... :)

stating a resolution above 1920 x 1080 p on a sub 30" screen is nothing more than evidence of m*st*rb*t**n, comment about the game, not your rig... in all honesty i do not think that i will be able to finish (simply due to its length) the game but i do want to stick with it as long as i can... :) great follow-up to a very impressive game, hope it turns out to be almost as good as oblivion if not better... :)
