@Prime_28 You are paying a subscription for better servers, better connections, better hosting, etc. That's why the internet has so many ads. Hosting isn't free, and you didn't pay for everyone else to be able to connect to you. Stuff like that are why Xbox Live was better than the PS network for multiplayer gaming.
@111ThatGuy111 Just because you didn't understand the complexity of the story doesn't mean that other people don't see it. It was a well developed story, that built on its characters, flushing them out and even if you think you know what one character is all about, they toss you the alternate reality version which presents a new light to the characters and gives you another take on their motivations. Vox Populi shifting from freedom fighters to outright terrorists is just one example.
It is a good story, which unfortunately today's kids probably won't get. I blame schools now-a-days. They don't teach kids to really appreciate good stories, they assign it to you sure, but if the teacher doesn't explain parts or doesn't help kids to visualize the story then they'll just say "[it] was kind of retarded" when a good story comes around.
@ThisIsMyFlannel Because it is a good game that tells a deep story, as well as introduces some new mechanics (skylines, tears) while keeping the stuff everyone loved from the originals. More than likely, you are just complaining because it confused you, but it was good.
