How does one excommunicate an ill defined group of criminals? Does it really even matter to Catholics that they've been excommunicated? Sounds like something a 15 year old girl does on Facebook to her friends when she defriends them.

The Mafia is anything but ill-defined. They're quite pronounced, evident, and distinct in their existence - particularly in Italy.

Why doesn't Frank name names then?

Because the Mafia consists of more than 5 people?...

That would be quite an event, Pope Francis individually reading off thousands of full names of people he's excommunicating.

Good joke though. There are many parts of Italy where you can't even go as far as to run as business unless you're regularly paying the Mafia money. Hell - the Mafia is so ingrained into their government and culture, they're practically integral and they're definitely invincible. Don't underestimate the Mafia, they're very real and they're not vague in the least - they're simply untouchable.

You could equally make the argument that they are a noble people with a strong fighting spirit as exemplified by the sport of football. The seminole tribe is quite proud to have their name associated with Florida State. In fact, I believe they gave the university their explicit permission. But as for "redskins", I really think they should just put it to vote to the native american community if they want it changed or not.

Wasn't the name already approved by the Native American community when it was chosen? If I have any problem with changing the name - this would be it. There's absolutely nothing that happened between now and then to bring added sensitivity to the Native American subject, all the situation is really doing is putting our society under a microscope to see how it's resolved. Obviously, the solution will be the one that caters to the least amount of people, the most sensitive ones.

Easy to remember songs + simple and catchy = most listeners on their behalf

They've already figured out on their end that listeners are attracted to a not-so-diverse selection of chorus music, so in their minds it'd be bonkers to do it any other way.

Why wouldn't God use evolution?

Because it makes absolutely no sense. It seems rather odd that an omnipotent being uses a process with takes a staggeringly long time and leaves useless and energy intensive design flaws.

'Guided evolution' is merely religion trying to conform with modern knowledge with out making a lick of sense.

The concept of evolution doesn't fit in with god crafting man in his image, nor does it fit in with the Bible's time line at all. If you're Christian, you pretty much have to pick and choose which parts of the faith fit your lifestyle - which makes most Christians no more than hypocrites. You might as well just believe whatever you want, and believe you're going to heaven, because that's exactly what the majority of ignorant Christians do anyways. I've yet to meet any Christians to express concern of their piety to me.

I don't think anyone here on system wars is smart enough to calculate what it takes to go from 30fps and 720p on ps3 to 60fps 1080p on ps4. There are so many different variables that must be taken into account. All the "Omg 2x resolution requires a 2x stronger gpu cpu etc." Even if you know the fundamentals to graphics processing or programming, it in no way makes you a professional in developing graphic engines. So let's all do everyone a favor and STFU. :)

i think any stupid PC gamer knows exactly what it takes and even the dumbest console gamer can check it in hundreds of benchmarks of hundreds of PC games

2x more frames = exactly 2x more hardware

You know absolutely nothing about hardware and software, and you've demonstrated it with this very point. 2x more frames doesn't directly correlate to 2x as much horsepower. Your grasp on the connection between hardware and software is a long way off. All optimization for console games are done via software. Otherwise you'd be downloading video driver updates for your Playstation/Xbox, which you don't do.
