basically i was playing resistance 2, i died, the screen went black as if loading and froze, I turned off my system and now I can't get any game to play can you help me out on that too heh?

I was playing resistance 2 campaign when I died. After I died the screen went black as if it were loading and stayed black for a looong time. I evetually decided to shutoff the system and now i cant get it to play again. I just got the ps3 today so I dont know how to manually start the game but when I put in the game it is not auto-starting.

i dont have an hdmi cable

i tried my 360 on my sisters HD TV and the lines were still there

i just checked sony support and it says to disconnect coaxial cables closest to the television. Any idea what that means?
