@dmb34: How many people are still using mechanical hard drives? Um, everybody? Yeah, everybody. Unless you have $150+ to spend on a 1TB SSD, mechanical hard drives are your only option. I use a 250GB Samsung 850EVO, along with a 2TB Seagate 7200RPM hard drive. Sure, my SSD speed is way faster, but the situation isn't that bad for hard drives.
Large cases certainly have a future. That's like saying mobile gaming is the future. I feel like you're making a pointless argument here. Why do big cases need to go? There is literally not one reason. If you prefer a smaller case, fine, nothing wrong with that. Why do larger cases need to go? You make absolutely no sense.
And tablets/smartphones suck, especially for gaming. (Unless you're fine with that 20FPS in Flappy Bird)
