@Joefatty2x4: couldn't agree more. i pre-ordered and gave up after only ~25 hours of gameplay.

i bought reaper of souls around season 21, and could not believe how this was even the same game. in fact, D3 is so good right now, and how well the systems are tuned, i find it hard to believe this is the same studio that put out trash like Shadowlands.

@burn6: ironic because counter-strike originated as a mod.

@Dark_Matters: i see it has not having to do with social issues but world-building.

this is a world in which things like people, literally, are products due to the easy availability of body parts and cybernetic mods. games like fallout and GTA feature heavy advertising of products that are in abundance for the player to purchase or find.

if there are millions of posters of trans people, why are there no trans people? bad world-building. if they had (or have. i haven't played the game) dozens of poster for a gun or car which the player couldn't see or buy that would be just as bad.

@the_kfd_case: i've read this complaint from at least one other review.

there's massive advertising for products that apparently have zero sales? think nuka-cola and fallout; lots of advertising, lots of product. night city is also where people can buy body parts off the shelf. that's how it works in the real world, and fictional worlds.

if it doesn't work in cyberpunk's night city, that's just bad world-building.

i bought on gog because cdpr has been good to its customers and users, including myself.

i do like some platforms more than others but the differences are insignificant; i click icon, i play game.

@Jinzo_111887: Assassin's creed, and valhalla, microtransactions are super chill though. completely ignorable and avoidable. And they give you the option to buy microtransactions using ingame currency. in odyssey i had bought dozens of microtransaction armor pieces and weapons just by playing the game.

@systemoverload: it feels way better after this patch. 60 hours played before this patch and somehow it feels significantly better, it could be some of the mouse aim fixes too.

1080 ti, i7 6700k, 16gb ram.

of course, after patch 1.02 it would crash every 5 minutes for me, so experience for others could be anywhere...
