@noirtenshin Well, you just saved me some own effort right there....and "minimizing the interaction with the enemy by maximizing the interaction with the environment" is probably the best definition of a stealth game i've come across so far and it certainly is what Thief games are/were/should be about imo.
A tough sell in an age where many gamers crave fancy kill animations to stroke their virtual egos. Achieving an objective WITHOUT killing foes, a form of satisfaction lost on most.
@Xenro4 The very fact that a AAA, mega budget and vastly marketed game like D3 needs to put out (paid for) DLC to even catch up with a F2P title like PoE should make ya think.....
PoE has sailed over the horizon while D3 is still moored to the pier...no matter what D3 does in the future, i'll stay on this boat.
@Gelugon_baat As i am sure you're aware of, without it PoE couldn't exist.
The proverbial cat chasing it's own tail.
I understand your lament, fair enough, especially if you travel much or have a dodgy connection.
I'm generally opposing always online requirements too, but if the alternative is "no PoE at all" i can live with it...not least coz the shop isn't intrusive at all.
@anab0lic Many PoE players feel similar. It's not by much, but the zoom-in is just that little bit too close to make it feel comfortable.
It doesn't make it a game breaker for me personally, but i can understand that you (and others) find it off-putting. i'd like a slighlty further out view too.
That said, anab0lic...it's a blast of a game. Give it a whirl and check for yourself how much the camera zoom-in actually bothers you. Worst case scenario is you tried and uninstalled it.
