One of these days, anytime soon now, people will stop throwing money at games based on trailers....right ?

Oh well, anotherone for the "let's wait a few month until it's patched and cheaper"-bin....and then never to be bothered with again.

You've saved me quite a bit of money that way in recent years Mr. VanOrd.

Hmmm, radial menu, onscreen "push this button to do that"....hoping there's a less console tailored interface in the PC version.

Other than that it seems to have that certain "Thief" feel to it.

As always waiting til after release and read the feedback from press and players, but still hopeful.

Not sure i can boil it down to 5, and then again not sure if i'll even end up buying more than a few of them, but (in no particular order) here goes:

- Witcher 3

- Everquest Next

- Elite Dangerous

- GTA V (PC)

- Project Eternity

- Star Citizen (if it ever get's beyond setting new funding landmarks)

- Elder Scrolls Online

- ArmA III (once all of the campaign has been released)

- whichever naval combat game Wargaming or Gajin come up with (2014 ?)

Add to that the odd gaming surprises that always come along during a year, Path of Exile being my favorie one in 2013.

Also this year, new rig :)

@shingui5 Agreed, from a gamers point of view it is, or rather it should be ?

In the end it's just a psychological trick, and imo you could replace gameification with a much more established term...manipulation.

Is it a good or a bad thing ?

Everybody has to decide that for themselves, personally i don't enjoy being tricked and manipulated.

I try to set my own goals in games, and i don't need a fancy .jpg to pop up to give me a sense of achievement, telling me i achieved a goal somebody ELSE has set.

That's not achieving anything, just an artificial shoulder tap.

@anakvunky It DID need a second review, because many people blamed review sites for scoring it badly just because of the launch disaster.

That myth has now been put to bed, the game is just outright rubbish.

Imo it's simply common sense to hold off on anything that hasn't even released yet....but hey.
