@Mogan: That's fair, and I did the same, but it was a paid demo. You had to have EA access.

@munday78: I understand plenty. I sympathize with developers to an extent. But, with the sheer number of EASILY duplicable glitches, the lack of overall quality in character appearances, the bad dialogue writing, etc. I'd hardly call critique 'crying about everything'. The truth is, there's very little excuse for some of the flaws in this game. And you might have had an argument for game scale, were we not living in a post Witcher 3 world. I like this game, but that does not make it immune from legitimate criticism.

@Mogan: Sure, but do you enjoy paying to be an unknowing beta tester, when you thought you were getting a finished product? I don't.

I'm glad they're fixing stuff, but this has become a disgusting trend in the game industry. Publishers force developers to shove a product out the door in an unfinished state, then let the consumers act as the QA testers so the devs can finish the game after launch. It's almost like they skip half of the bug-testing phase and shift it past release. What you're getting isn't a 'gold mastered' game anymore, it's like the play tester final beta, these days.

@Chaos_1990: Simple. The game was great, leading up to the ending. Stellar, even. You had the gravitas of it all, the impact of the journey leading up to the end all sinking in. Then, you had a linear, ham-fisted ending that you had almost no control over... the ending for the entire series. All of your choices in the previous games, all your effort, all your struggles... worthless, because they had less than no impact on the end. You got the same 3 choices as everyone else. For a game series based on choice that advertised every choice as having meaning, this was unacceptable. It doesn't matter how amazing the journey was if the destination was the city dump.

Who the hell cares? Are you guys really that defensive of your e-peens? If you earn achievements and are proud of earning them, great. More power to you. But, placing the value of your experience on whether or not someone else had to work for an arbitrary, inconsequential set of pixels that has no bearing on the game, or how your, or they are able to play it is kind of pathetic.

Lame. Leave it to Hollywood to come up with a terrible idea for something that literally only happened within the last 5 years...
