Yeah. DVDs aren't in HD and from what I know the PS3 doesn't upscale movies... I could be wrong though.

Despite the common conception that I am raving Lemming, I did go out and buy a PS3. It was a great deal, and... well it's too long for a forum post, the details are all in my blog (the link above my sig.)

In any case, I have Motorstorm, Resistance, and GTHD and Sigma demos so far. So... I'm here thinking, now what? Lair in August and Heavenly Sword in September and Haze sometime this year. Am I missing anything? What are current PS3 owners playing that I don't know about? (I've already played the multiplat big ones for the 360) Not trying to start a flame war, just trying to get the most out of my PS3.

Well, I don't think they should replace them all with new units. If they did that would be fine. However I do think if they've found a way to fix the issue, they should allow current owners to send their current units in and have the modifications done whether something has gone wrong already or not.

That way, if someone's box hasn't failed, then they have the option of fixing it before anything might. If it hs failed, well, then they already fixing those.
