Yes... I bought a PS3. Pick your jaws up off the floor please.

Despite the common conception that I am raving Lemming, I did go out and buy a PS3. It was a great deal, and... well it's too long for a forum post, the details are all in my blog (the link above my sig.)

In any case, I have Motorstorm, Resistance, and GTHD and Sigma demos so far. So... I'm here thinking, now what? Lair in August and Heavenly Sword in September and Haze sometime this year. Am I missing anything? What are current PS3 owners playing that I don't know about? (I've already played the multiplat big ones for the 360) Not trying to start a flame war, just trying to get the most out of my PS3.

'Master mod' and 'raving lemming' don't go together. And anyone who isn't so blindly ignorant to see that the PS3 is infact a great console with serious potential will have hours of enjoyment.

NCAA should keep me pretty busy and o a little demo with the name Heavely Sword is finished and ready to be sent out expect it this Thursday :)

i go tthe japanese version of Gundam Musou, that game is a blast.

I want one but theres no way I will buy it until rumble is reintroduced, we get a $400 price point, more 3rd party dev experence and more online experence. I need that $600 this year to buy 360 software. Late adopters will be sitting pretty when they get a PS3 in a couple of years.

Think of it as long term purchase. Given the mediocrioity of the 360's lineup in 2008 the PS3 should get a lot of play from younext year, and there are a few gems that should tide you over this year as well (Haze, Racthet, Uncharted etc)

Is there much more content that NG: Black? I know the graphics are improved and you can play as Rachel, but as someone who has beaten the Xbox version about a half a dozen times is it worth it?

Dude, I got one too, I was vehemently anti Sony until their E3 conference impressed me enough and convinced me that the PS3 will actually have games in the future.

Ironically, my 16 month old 360 has given me less problems in terms of being defective than my first 500$ paperweight... errr PS3.

I'd say wait until after X07 to say something like that. E3 07 focused on this year's games. They haven't really made big reveals as to next year yet.

To the TC, your problem is my problem (kind of). The only difference is, I haven't bought a PS3 yet. I really want to, but every time I consider it, I think "What would I buy? What haven't I already played on my 360 that I want for the PS3? Resistance." Actually, I also want NG Sigma. I know you said you've beaten the Xbox game half a dozen times, but come on, can you really get enough of that game!

Anyway,your issueis why I'm giving it a year or so before I buy one. You will have some great games coming out in the not too distant future (others have listed them). I hope it works out for you though!
