This is so funny lol

Nike

"Much of Adidas’ and Nike’s sportswear is made in Indonesia, where 80 percent of workers in the garment sector are women and some make as little as 86 euros ($102) a month while others do not earn the legal minimum wage, according to the CCC’s report."

Liberal logic

"Women and kids are being mistreated and earn almost nothing working in sweatshops" No one cares

"A multi-million dollar rich former QB appears in an ad that earns him more millions" Yaaaa, Nike is a social justice warrior. Let´s all run to the shops and buy those things made by women and kids for the same amount as they earn in a year.

The video is not available?

I was able to watch it (again) just now over here. Hmm...

Don´t think SO is in the US and in a country where the rights to that program are sold to someone who does not like it is free on youtube.

I think at this point, I'd probably ignore the polls. I believe that it's up to voter turnout. It seems both parties are energized, democrats a bit more but they usually have younger voters which don't do much for their chances. I still believe in my prediction, but this will be very interesting.

If young people get out to vote in droves, democrats retake congress. If they stay home, it will be a republican victory. It's simple as that. My bet is that they will get out to vote.

I think it´s a very good idea to kinda ignore the polls at this point.

As you say it will all come down to who can get most of their energized group to the polls.

Republicans are older and more set and usually have a strong voter turnout, Democrats have the young hip progressives but as we saw with Sanders and Clinton, they somehow can´t switch that energy to also actually finding the time to go to the polls.

So agree it will all be about who turns up, Democrats and Congress will be theirs with a similar margin to the Republicans have now, Republicans and Democrats will still get a majority in the house but not as big, and Reps will gain a some seats in the Senate.

Exciting. To be honest, this is a very interesting midterm. Historically an unpopular president easily loses the midterms. However, Trump is widely popular with his base, though universally disliked by the other party - unlike Bush in his first term. And unlike republicans during Clinton.

So as you say and we can agree to. Non-white and young turnout will be the key for democrats. If they don't go out to vote, its a republican victory in the senate, though I believe eitherway the house is pretty much a given chance to switch democrat, regardless.

Yup, and it looks like Taylor Swift may have quite the impact on the Blackburn race, 65.000 new registered to vote after her tweet.

So that is kinda scary and funny at the same time, scary as to the uninformed kids who seem to be swayed by a Swift tweet and fun because anyone actually cares what she thinks.

Ya i kinda knew that but forgot that :D

But with that said it will interesting to see all the women running this time around

Well hopefully it isn't Hillary Clinton. Trump will win again I bet if she does :P

Democrats won't make the same mistake twice. It's obvious they are pushing for a socialist leaning democrat, seems like the anti-Trump that democracts, especially young ones can get behind. It has to be Warren, second Bernie, but Warren takes the top spot.

You really think the Democrats would make that mistake as well? or you believe the young will actually vote? like after the swift tweet where 65.000 suddenly registered to vote.

@blackballs: Even if she runs, she won't win. Trump has historically high approval ratings in his party. No one is beating him. This is Trump's party.

That is why I mentioned an independent run.

As you say Trump has record-high approval rating among the Republicans and especially among the evangelists now that Kavanaugh is confirmed.

But with that said I saw the video from the white house, and could it be that she may be geared to take over from either Sessions or Rosenstein, though she wouldn´t need to resign on her own.

Hmm, not so sure she wouldn't lol :D but imagine the mediaheadlines - The battle of the century, forget about Mayweather vs Mcgregor, forget Tyson vs Hollyfield, this is the true "rumble in the jungle 2" In the blue corner we have the former First lady, a lady who made foreign policies look like a walk in the park and in the red corner the "the President who doesn´t believe in Ford and loves to give them an extra squeeze down under"

Pft, that's for my kids to worry about.

Drill, baby, drill!

Exactly. And hey with a warmer climate, I don't have shovel tons of white shit every effing winter.

Yup, also just think about all the natural resources Norway can get from the permafrost being gone. and all the ship traffic.

Low blow Horgen in these days

And some on the left has already begun the spin that it´s a protest against Kavanaugh´s confirmation.

It was never meant to be taken seriously either. I did encounter just argument in a game set to London in 1918 though... :P

This week's end of the world crisis is brought to you by the DEMOCRATS.

LOL yup

Democrats are running around screaming "the world is ending" so perhaps we should give them a sign and put them under a freeway.

@Jacanuk: You think someone from within the administration will primary Trump as an incumbent?

I hope you're right, that would be fun.

Anything to get that orange fuehrer out of office. I'd vote for her.

Wouldn't the counter argument for her running be "something women fickle emotions something"? Or is that a low blow these days? :P
