2013 already? I'm a little concerned about it being too soon, but then again they may have been working on it for some time... I really don't know what to think about this, most games that go online are a little bit of a downer... but then again, elder scrolls is elder scrolls, so I guess we'll have to wait and see what they have up in their sleeve.

Good luck with the bugs though. If it's hard repairing them on a single player mode, I wonder about multiplayer and online.

Well, they pre-order it if they want... I don't really care about that anyway. Sometimes they pre-order because on most websites they offer you the possibility of always having the most cheap price that comes from occasional promotions. I've done that and I was happy to buy a new game for almost half the price.

The only thing that stops me from buying a Vita is the reduced battery life... I think that they really should develop that on the usual "Vita lite"/"Vita slim" version of the console because I think that as a handheld, it should have much more battery potential.

Ok, I just stopped at the first part of the article. I understand that some people don't like to watch the dialogues... man, when a game begins to bore me even I skip them sometimes. But skip battle sequences? Perhaps that could actually work in some very specific games but most games that actually contain story, rely on battles to develop characters abilities and the games that don't have much story are games that are only focused on battles. Why skip battles? Of course that some are annoying and you want to scream at the screen because they are there, but videogame industry isn't movie industry. If you just want the story of a game, you should read the script, not play it.

I think it can get proportional. A game with very good gameplay can afford having a bad story and a game with a bad gameplay can be saved by a great story.

I think that the problem in female gamers isn't the fact that games aren't made with many female roles. I guess that the major concern is that male gamers don't accept the fact that women also play games. That's what upsets us, female gamers. And I agree with @Smokey2003 - Nobody wants to play a game about a strong single mother working her way up the corporate ladder in a man's world. It's not a question of putting female leaders in games but of accepting female gamers generally speaking.

I'm a female gamer and I don't only play the sims or nintendogs - I have played FPS, RPG's, sport games, racing games, guitar hero, since I can remember. The industry of videogames is developing in both genres - some games are made specially for girls but that doesn't mean that men can't play them - and vice versa. And just because I play "men games" it doesn't mean I'm less girly - as well as men aren't less manly just because they play some girl games. I'm proud to be a female gamer and to play every kind of game - as long as it's a good game.
