I don't like to take sides between Sony and Microsoft afterall i am a conumer of both brands, but i can't stop feeling that what Sony is doing is wrong. The fact that for the second consecutive year Sony won't be present in the E3 show is an act of arrogance and overconfidence. This fact along with the fact that the company is also absent from the other major events throughout the year gives me the impression that Sony takes its consumers for granted and this as a consumer irritates me. Microsoft on the other hand does everything in its power to win over the consumers that it might have lost in this generation and keeps supporting E3 that we all gamers love, without the presence of Microsoft this year the show would be condemned to oblivion. So in my opinion Sony need to show that it is willing to fight to win over its consumers, it doesn't have a monopoly on the market. There will be other choices as well besides the PS5.
Personally i really enjoy Ubisoft games, Ubisoft is one of my favorite game creators, i really admire the work they did on the last two assasins creed games, origins and odyssey. Its true that there may be some similarities among its games, but they are trying hard to improve each new entry of their franchises, we can clearly see that in the assasins creed series where we can see this series vastly improving with each new title. Assasins creed odyssey was in my opinion a spectacular achievement in game design, as well as gameplay mainly due to the addition of light rpg elements to the game's combat system. I played this game for about 270 hours ( i was playing it for about 6 months time) i finished both the main game and the dlc which were also great and the gameplay was so addictive and well made that even towards the end of my time with the game i was still having fun playing it. I like the mechanics of their games, they have found a formula with which they create games that are a lot or fun to play. The only thing they need to do in my opinion is make some fresh additions to each new title in the series ( i mean assasins creed) maintaining the core gameplay because its fun and addictive. Finally, because i happen to be Greek, these guys in Ubisoft, they pay attention even to the tiniest of details in their games, in odyssey i paused a lot of times to listen to the citizens pray to the gods in Greek or conversing with each other in ancient Greek, believe me everything was correct, even the writings on the statues and ancient monuments were correct, not to mention the realistic depiction of the Greek history and mythology too. The only complaint i have regarding the far cry series specifically is that they look technically inferior in comparison to most of the games i play on my PS4. I also love far cry though.
Although it released towards the end of 2018 the game that won me over this year was assasins creed oddyssey, in my opinion maybe the most beautifully crafted game world i have experienced this year with attention to detail in every aspect of the game. I have just finished the whole game dlc included having spend 270 hours on this game(i was playing it for about 6 months cause i have a life too..) and still even towards the end i was having fun playing it. Ubisoft is one of my favorite companies creating games that i really love. The two latest assasin creed games origins and odyssey have seen a dramatic improvement in gameplay terms with an excellent combat system that is very hard to put down. I highly recommend this game to everybody, just keep in mind that it will take a lot of your time and thats because its a massive game.
@deviltaz35: I suppose you are right, the truth is that I haven't yet played the game so I haven't seen its game engine. I would have upgraded to a pro but now that the ps5 is about to launch it isn't worth it anymore especially since such an upgrade requires you to buy a new 4k TV too. I have decided to upgrade directly to a ps5 and buy a 4k TV close to that date too. Anyway, thank you for the insight regarding the game, I think it's the next game I will play despite its frame rate issues.
The hardware of the base Ps4 is not to blame for any frame rate issues of the game, the problem exists because the developers didn't put enough time to polish the game, I have played more technically demanding games on my ps4 and there was no frame rate issues at all

It seems that Sony is going to be absent from this show too. Microsoft keeps announcing new game studio acquisitions and games while Sony stays completely silent. It makes me wonder if it is preparing its own event or if it doesn't have anything to show at the moment. I think that this complete absence from all major gaming events will be harmful for Sony, unless it plans something big until the end of the year.
The fact that they say that the game is very similar to shekiro makes me really worried since games like shekiro and other from software games are frustrating due to extreme difficulty that goes far beyond common sense. I have played a lot of challenging difficult games but a game that punishes you for trying to have some fun is a game that i am going to avoid. I really liked the trailers that i have seen from jedi fallen order and its a game that i am looking forward to, but if its difficulty is similar to Shekiro or dark souls i am not going to buy it. I don't want to suffer playing the game, i want to have fun.
The game is very good, that's why i am playing a second playthrough these days. Unfortunately the new game plus mode
crashes completely almost from the beginning and the crash occurs every time i am trying to play the game on new game plus,
so its a game crushing bug. The only way for someone to play the game a second time is to start a new game mode not the new game plus mode. Also the game crushes in other occasions too but fortunately that does not happen very often. Note that i am playing the game on a PS4, i don't know what happens in other platforms.
