The painting in those sculptures are of some remarcable quality, if leaving them in the case is your cup of tea then do it, but you will never be able to pose Kratos against your Leonidas King form 300 sculpture!

In fact yes, Metal Gear Series are very original, A lot of games copied from the Stealth formula but that doesnt make the original, well... original ;p

 And I heard that Indigo Prophesy its a very original game, havent played but a friend told me that is a very different experience than must PS2 other games.

Fatal Frame for FAR is scarier than Silent Hill, but Silent Hill is disturbing, not scary.

For some real scares and a true and clever horror formula go for Fatal Frame, the first and the Second are very worthy, I havent played the tird and looks pretty expensive in Ebay, so bad. 

Mi advice for you is:

Seriously, buy one and then the other, save some money its just $20 each and they are one of the best PS2 games ever.

I have both and played both, I think for you that RE4 will give you more value but SotC shall not be missed for any gamer, its just a masterpiece.

I suggest you to make a little research, I heard that the FFXI servers are shutting down ala Snake Eaters servers, look thats the crapy side of the MMORPG.

I can play my Metal Gear Solid in 5 years and its going to be there, but you will not be able to enjoy de multiplayer in MGS3 from this april fordward.

And what is going to happen whit all the money that you paid online? just memories in your brain.
