I'm having trouble trying to grab hold of somone. I creep up to them with the DPad and then press circle but nothing happens. In the manual it just tells me to press it once to grab ahold of them, then I can do whatever I want with them. I can only grab them when I hold down the circle button, then I need to keep it held down or else the enemy just manages to get out of snake's grip. I'm getting realy anoyed because I cant do any of the functions with the Circle button once the enemy is grabbed, since I need to keep it held down all the time. The manual doent say this! The manual is in dutch, so I didnt get some of it. Allso, how do I drag dead enemies and take their equipment?

PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

There are game hints and walktroughs here in Gamespot, just perform a search about Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater and go to the hints  section, there you can found a very deep description of exactly what you can do in CQC.
