COD2 was great. COD4 is one of my favorite games of all time. COD:W@W was fun for 100 hrs, and wasn't bad,a solid effort. MW2 was horrible. Where to start? Lag, cheaters, endless noob-tubes,no dedicated servers, countless exploints (running, knifing), cheap kill streaks. It was rare to actually die by bullets. MW2 is probably the biggest disappointment of video gaming history.I didn't even play Black Ops. I won't be playing MW3 either. The COD franchise is dead.

Every franchise that releases a new game every year sucks. They're only in it for the money. But you guys will buy that escrement, so they'll keep making it and feeding it to you. Maybe they'll make a COD every 6 months for you guys.

Blood Money was good/okay. I played through it a few times. Hitman 2 is a masterpiece and one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. I play through it every couple of years after I've forgotten how to beat it flawlessly, and enjoy figuring it all out again.

I'm willing to bet that eveyrone who thinks Blood Money was awesome is young and has never played Hitman 2. Blood Money held your hand and was too easy.

Unfortunately games just keeping getting worse. The graphics are getting better, but everything else is worse. But to be fair, Blood Money was good. Only fans of Hitman 2 will be disappointed with it. It's hard to follow a masterpiece.

Most of the time the reviewers get it right. But sometimes they miss a dimond in the rough that is true masterpiece. Let's talk about some of them.

I mostly play PC, so all mine are on the PC:

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. Has 82.2% at Gamerankings because of a lot of bugs at the time of release. But after 6 patches and a lot of community mods, this game is an absolute masterpiece and easily in my top 5 favorite games of all time.

Diablo II: Has 88.6% on gamerankings. A good score, but it doesn't reflect the fact that this game is still being played almost 10 years after it's release. I recently played it again with friends and logged another 50 hrs....

Call of Duty 2: Has 87.6% on gamerankings. Again a good score, but this game is still in the top3 FPS played online 5 years after it's release (according to xfire). Pretty impressive considering how many FPS's are released each year. This game will never die.

Hitman 2 Silent Assassin: 85.5% on gamerankings. Easily in my top 5 games of all time.

I've missed a bunch. Let's fill them in.

Am I only one who doesn't like TF2? I play alot of COD4 (probably my favorite game of all time). I guess TF2...nothing dies. You have to shoot everyone so many times...by then their whole team is on you kicking your ass. I'm just not used to having to shoot something 3x + times with a shot gun to kill it.

I guess I don't get it.

Fear (excellent AI). Haven't played Fear 2 yet.

Far Cry 1 and 2 (pretty good most of the time)

Stalker SOC and Stalker Clear Sky (Hit and miss, but usually pretty unpredictable which makes it tough).

A few things to think about before buying this card:

1. It's 11.5" long. Make sure it will fit.

2. It runs hot and loud.

3. Only saphire makes them. Checkout the newegg reviews: 20% give it 1 or 2 eggs. Lots of complaints of heat, noise, and driver issues.

4. People say saphire's customer service is horrible.

Otherwise, I agree it's amazing on paper. Awesome performance at an incredible price. But the above 4 reasons kept me from buying the card.

It's not as good as COD4, but definitely worth $50.

I've beaten the single player twice, the last time on veteran...it's very very good. There's a few frustrating parts (but not as many as COD4 which I also beat on veteran).

The multiplayer is also very good. I've got ~150 hrs and 12k kills on it so far. It's not as good as COD4 (I play them both right now), but it's really good especially if you've played COD4 to death and are looking for something new.

The biggest problems with the MP
- Bad spawn logic (sometimes you spawn surrounded by enemies or vice versa)

- Sporadic hit detection (sometimes bullets just don't register). COD4 has this problem at times too, but WaW has it much worse.

- Server Authentication Errors (can be avoided, but still annoying).

Hopefully patch 1.2 will fix most of this and will come out soon.

But yes, I definitely recommend buying the game.

Counter-Strike is a mod (Half-Life), and it's one of the biggest (if not the biggest) professionally played competative games ever.

Defense of the Ancients is a mod (Warcraft III), and it's also played competatively at the professional level.

Gaming Console=A dumbed down PC that's easier for consual gamers to understand and use. Sure there's great games on consoles, but at the end of the day, they're for casuals who are turned off by the complexity of the PC.

As a previous console gamer who wasn't interested in PC, but finally built a q6600/8800GTS system ealier this year and haven't touched my consoles since...once you go PC, it's hard to go back.

If you're a gamer and haven't tried the PC...you just don't know the whole world of gaming that you're missing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Halo CE is innovative for CONSOLE shooters. Of course the PC did everything first. PC >> Consoles.

1. It's the first good console shooter to use duel thumbsticks. ALL console shooters use duel thumbsticks now. In fact duel thumbsticks is the default way to control console games now.

2. Melee and granade buttons (Console).

It created the competitive multiplayer CONSOLE shooter genre. If you are into competative multiplayer console shooters, you've played halo, period. Maybe KZ2 will take the crown, but Halo has the crown. I don't count COD4 because COD4 is better on the PC, and the competitive community for COD4 and COD2 is bigger on the PC. If you're into COD, you should be playing on the PC.

If you've ever played Halo, Halo 2, or Halo 3, you will quickly see that it's great for FPS multiplayer on a console. It just works, and works very very well. I can't say that for a lot of multiplayer games.
