@scottislemon: As soon as I found out about the multiplayer focus, this game went from a potential day-1 purchase (which I really try to avoid doing) to a potential non-purchase. Ah well. Maybe they'll vastly improve it and by then it'll be cheaper and I'll check it out. But if I can't play it solo without it being too grindy and annoying then I'll pass.
@consolehaven: I see. Well here's hoping Anthem will have some good single-player content. I just can't get into games that are focused on multiplayer. I'll be waiting for reviews on YouTube.
@consolehaven: What do you mean about the expensive single player? The last Bioware game I bought on release day was Jade Empire so I don't know anything about the pricing on their newer games. Were they more expensive than the standard pricing?
@DeadManRollin: Most of my storage is taken up by other games, so I'd have to uninstall a few of them to make room. I don't think it's that big of a deal but it will be annoying to have to download a 100 gig game.
@mattcake: I wonder how many people really rely on reviews from sites like this one or IGN. With all the YouTube reviewers, it doesn't seem necessary to need an opinion from the Big Sites.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading reviews and seeing scores but I'd rather watch gameplay footage on YouTube to get a real sense of what a game is like. And so far, Fallout 76 isn't looking too good. I'm not even sure I'll even get it when it's on sale and all patched up.
@s9743469: I never even made it to the end game because I got tired of the Orc captains adapting to every attack. Often, I would need other orcs to kill just to charge up an attack the captain hadn't adapted to yet...except they'd put a fuckton of shield orcs around making it even more of a grind to grind to charge up an attack.
