True, but lots of players are going backwards themselves after playing the Sims 3 and returning it. Like I said, EA isn't much for integrity if they can sell a lot.

I think EA games could make a lot of money (and make us happy) if they made more expansions for Sims 2. The Sims 3 has a lot of players, and potential, but many people are still attatched to Sims 2. Some people played 3 and didn't like it, so they went back. I personally think the third one looks bad, or at least not suited for my way of playing. There are lots of people who are going to keep playing Sims 2 for a looong time, so why shouldnt EA make money and make expansions? We all know they aren't exactly quality over quantity. What harm could it do?

There are lots of people still modding the Sims 2, and they are pretty much doing what EA would be profitting from. Now an obvious problem could be: "What kind of expansions could they possibly make now?"

Firstly they could make expansions FOR the expansions. There are lots of ways they could expand on the titles like Apartment Life and Seasons.

Plus, I'm sure there are lots of other packs they could make. I would be happy to hear from anyone reading if they have ideas. I'm thinking they could do a Science pack, Nature, Pirate adventure.. Really, with the number of Sims obsessed people like me there is no end. I'm also not that picky, as long as it works well. The more the merrier!

What do you think?

I'm sure there are plenty of these topics.. I don't care.

I was thinking, for the fourth installment (if they make one), they should focus on your involvement in the town. It could be Animal Crossing: Town Life or Animal Crossing: Party Animals.. Or a better name. It seems kind of silly that in ALL the animal crossing games, we are constantly tending to the town and keeping it neat and tidy, yet we have so little control over it. We can't host events, we don't have any control over the other residents.. Wouldn't it be fun to have an event maker, where you could make everybody participate? Or what if you could be a travelling salesman, setting up shop in your town and others! You could use items for merchandise, design clothes (you know how) and sell them, and there could be a tent builder to design your shop.

Whatever they do, they really need to give us more control. They have been hoping we will use multiplayer in the last two installments to fill a gap, but now it must truly be filled. The online play isn't spectacular, so we need to make an even bigger single player experience.

It used to be Nintendo almost always made high quality games, that were fresh and brought new things each time. But it's starting to seem they are getting less progressive in some ways, and taking the fact that people will buy the new games no matter what for granted.

Particularly, I'm thinking Mario Party 8. I actually think the quality was better in the other ones.I've played the first three, and I have one for Gamecube (I don't remember the number, there are so damn many!). The first three had great style, I felt they were a lot of fun. The GC one I have almost got stale, but it introduced some new features like the car battles that made it great. But the 8th one? They implemented the Wii remote, but that's it. The mini-games are fun, though they never really change in fun from one game to another. There aren't really many amazing features that make this much different from the other games.

What was REALLY disappointing with MP8 was that they didn't include online play. I myself am not one of those 'online or nothing' people, but you'd think they could at least have like a mini-game mode where you play with other people? It wouldn't be that hard. I was also disappointed that they didn't try to mend the rubber band AI. Part of the charm of Mario Party games is the randomness and the fact that you never know what's going to happen. But sometimes it's just out of control. It's not that fun to be in first, and to pretty much own the game for about an hour, then at the very end be put in last by some 'random fun events'. Fun -.-

Another game that I found could have had fixes was Mario Kart Wii. Actually, since Mario Kart has less different releases, it was still fairly new, and introduced a lot of fun concepts, great online play, and even beautiful maps. BUT I was really hoping they would do something about the out of control AI. There is no way to win when you get hit by a blue shell, then a red shell, then get pushed off the map and hit again when you come back. From first to last in about 10 helpless seconds. This game is also about being wacky and random, but that is kind of twisted. There should be like a max of two bad events within a small amount of time.

I don't know, I was just hoping they would be a little more innovative in some aspects. Their games are still fun and at some times beautiful.
