I love it, it's my favorite fighter since Street Fighter Alpha 3. xmitchconnorx
Same here. The only thing SF IV is missing is Air Guard. In Alpha 3 blocking in mid air saved me from getting punished lol.

I love the Yakuza series. One of my all time favorites. This game not being release outside Japan is equivalent to the non development of Shenmue 3.

[QUOTE="TheTenth10"]

Didn't play a Street fighter game since Alpha. did't like a Street fighter game since Super SFII.

I really hate the new combo system, the game was way more tactical when combos weren't there ; players had to know their opponent's weakness to be efficient and not wait for an occasion to use the "hyper super devastative move" to win

And I hate the new graphics.

You never played 3rd Strike? Man you missed out. I think SF4 got the game more balance with it's tiers and IMO the new look is refreshing and I'm glad Capcom didn't make the same mistake that they did with EX.

You comparing a fighter to a FPS is the same as comparing apples and oranges.

Do .5 really affect your enjoyment that you have with COD W@W?

It is all about preference. I tend to game twice as much on my PS3 but this is due to me buying multi plats plus exclusives for my PS3. Don't get me wrong my 360 do not collect dust. With all the exclusive titles and DLC, you can have enough titles to warrant a purchase. Is it overkill? IMO no it is not. The way I purchase games for both consoles, each one caters to a different experience.

get it for the 360, as it will most likely massively outsell the ps3 version, and as a result, more people will be available online to play with.mtradr43
I think it will be close when it comes to worldwide sales. As far as NA, it is a possibility. TC, I would go with the version that offers the best experience like game play, online friends etc. I will be getting the PS3 version for the Ryu figure and I heard that the PS3 version has anime intros. The only way I would have picked up the 360 version is if I was only able to get the TE fight stick for the 360 and not the PS3.

[QUOTE="GranReyUno"] Yea it is money well spent. I think it may have been Marksman that was replying to some one's post (not too sure) but it was said that the TE fight stick is under priced because it can cost at least $100 more to make a similar custom stick and if you was to mod a pre-existing stick, it would be at least $30-$40 more. After looking into building my on arcade, I do believe this to be true since quality parts can run you a pretty penny.EmyrsII

I remember reading this article as well... its what solidified my decision on buying the TE.. well that and looking into the pricing to make sure it was true... and it really is.. plus the stick is effing beautiful. i could never build anything that looked half as good.. and it would cost me just about as much.

but if anyone wants to look into parts for making their own.. or just different color buttons for a TE stick this site has a great selection and pretty good prices...a lot of people on different modding forums recommend them... Im looking into picking up some different color buttons and maybe some plugs to convert the stick to a 6button instead of the 8. maybe a different color blister ball to match the buttons too.. i dunno we'll see XD

lol I remember reading that article and canceling all plans to build my own. It was a real journey finding a retailer that still was taking pre-orders (thank you japan video games) lizard lick is one of the best sites to get arcade parts from IMO. There was one more site that I liked but I can not think of the name. Good luck and hopefully you can get the stick modded the way you want it.

No problem. Yea that guy knows his stuff when it comes to fight sticks. Have you seen his collection? Ridiculous! I trust his word on this fight stick plus his review on it was very thorough.

Ya I seen that collection. Quite a collection may I add. I would imagine he has a very sensitive touch to good quality sticks. I also have little to no doubt this stick will be well worth money spent. It may not redeem Mad Catz for their past atrocities(in my eyes) but hopefully this is a new direction for them to make quality products.

[QUOTE="GranReyUno"][QUOTE="Dirty3rdTex"] Yes, MadCatz is terrible at making good, lasting, quality peripherals but I heard this tournament stick is gonna be better then any stick out there(not including customs). Very hard to imagine that, but they have a professional(tourney player/stick builder which I cant remember his name) lend a big hand in making it the best stick you could buy. Dirty3rdTex
Are you referring to Marksman? Because if so, he stated that the TE is one of if not the best fight sticks to pick up at the moment. I have also heard from other people that their were more so outside sources working on the build of the fight stick design and materials. The regular SFIV fight stick might be suspect though. Glad I was able to pre-order a TE.

Yes and thank you. That guy seems like the Fighting Stick authority and the shoryuken community seem to trust in his word. So thats good enough for me to warrant a purchase.

As long as game prices do not jump over $60 I am ok. Would like games to be priced back at $50 tho.
