It's reassuring to see Miyazaki speak up about Dark Souls II, but this doesn't mean that consumerism and an emphasis on a so-called "broader audience" will not ruin the game. I will have my reservations until more information comes out.
I'm not seeing any new game innovations in MW3, and the engine looks the same, along with all the same mechanics that have been in the game (and have not been changed) since MW. MW was about 4 years ago. BF3 on the other hand has gotten a revolutionary new engine, new gameplay mechanics, and amazing technical feats and upgrades. To be completely honest, I see a hell of alot more improvements in BF3 than MW3. Sure I'm not going to completely bash MW3, I see hours of fun in the spec-ops survival mode, and I'm sure that the campaign will provide a decent adrenaline rush.Of course there is the multiplayer, but I'm pretty sure that BF3 has the edge over MW3 in multiplayer terms due to Frostbite 2 and the better sound dynamics and realism and all that other stuff. Over all, I'm going to have to say that BF3 will be the better game. I think that I'm being pretty honest here, if you analyze the 2 games in terms of improvement from predecessors, technically, gameplay, and graphically, it is pretty obvious that BF3 is better.
