They should have asked about why the AI was so bad.

I agree completely, a good story gives you reason to what you are doing in game, it gives you reason for shooting that alien in the face, or why your backstabbing that Mage. If you are just blindly shooting enemies for no reason other than shooting them, it can make a game fun, but no there is no depth to it. The story gives emotions and motives to the gameplay, and adds alot more weight to it. This is why games like Uncharted 2 and Mass Effect 2 are so good.

I thought that Kessler from inFamous was a great villian, he had personality, presence, humanity, motive, and mystery...especially when you find out who he really is...

@MEDzZ3RO I just have to say, when I first saw that DS had won GOTY over Uncharted 2, I was pretty upset, because Uncharted 2 was an amazing game, and I hadn't played DS. But then later on I played DS, and I realised why it had won. Uncharted 2 was a fantastic game, and it had its recognition as GOTY from dozens of other sources. DS was a fantastic game as well, but got little attention. I am really glad that GS acknowledged DS because it really deserved some recognition. There is just something about DS that is so amazing if you can get past the fact that it was such a high difficulty, you will love it. Uncharted 2 just did not carry that same sense of depth as DS. The reason DS won was not based on its technical score, but on the unique gameplay experience that it offered. Make no mistake, I love Uncharted 2, but I completely agree with the GS staff for picking DS as GOTY.

Its interesting that Laidlaw backs up and justifies all the changes made to Dragon Age 2 despite the somewhat negative response to them. He seems unsatisfied with many of Origin's features, yet those features gave Origins a high reception...alot higher than Dragon Age 2. He only had postive things to say for the changes, and neatly sidestepped addressing all the concerns with them. Sly guy...

@Big Dre D I didn't really like the fact that all the classes were available right off the bat in KZ3, in KZ2 there was a great sense of reward when you unlocked a new class to play with, and in KZ3 the sense of progression and reward was not as prevelent and strong as before. By no means am I saying that KZ2 is better, on almost every other front KZ3 is better, but they could have given you more unlockables to get.

They really did make noticible improvements from KZ2 to KZ3, thats really nice that they take feedback into account, thats the signature of a good developer.

Well I dont see much difference between the two and I don't particularly care about Fable. If this was about the difference between Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 it would be way more interesting. Too bad that can't happen for a couple more months.

Who cares about this stuff, because even if the textures are better on the Xbox for these games, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 cannot be made on the Xbox because it is technically inferior. nuff said.
