Question: Is this at all, on the same level as Shadow On The Sun?

If it is, it might be worth a look. If it's like his last effort, then no thanks.

Constro Jr. aka Cali > Constro

ITI: I know mayne. I wish was still around, but what are you going to do? There have been so many topics where I've been lurking and wanted to ask you a question, or give you props for your response on a topic. For the record though, that Webbie album you mentioned to me was dope as ****. So many dope tracks on that album, and I constantly find myself getting as giddy as a school girl when he's dropping guest verses. All of them have been near perfect. His verse on "Better Believe It" for example, is probably one of the best of the year.

Anyways, as far as new discs are concerned, the new Jay-Z isn't worth it. The Kid Cudi is garbo, and the Boosie album is underwhelming but still worth a purchase. ITI's right, Boosie's an animal on the mic but the beats really kill this album. It's a shame too, because Boosie proves on this album that he's among the best in the South on the mic. The first half of the album, save for a few tracks, is killer though. "Top Notch" and "Better Believe It" are some of the best of the year, easily. BTW, who's this Mouse cat btw? He kills it on Top Notch...or maybe that was Lil' Phat? Who knows...every verse is dope on that song.

Overall: New Jay is wack, new Cudi is beyond wack, new Rae is a grower, and is dope (gonna be in contention for the best of the year when its all said and done, but atm it's not touching the ugk album) and the new charles is also a grower, and a bit dissapointing. I KNOW charles has a ****c in him, and since I consider the pink lavalamp a near ****c, i really wanted to see Charles improve on that ****on his new disc. Charles is such a bull****er though....he has to know in his heart of hearts that songs like "All Alone" are awful, or saying "I'm ready to tell my story" a billion times on an otherwise dope track in "Barbara Walters" is annoying as sin. Still a good album though, just not as good as I was hoping.

I've got a blog you guys can check out if you really want to keep up with what I'm doing. I review music, and am my ridiculous self on there. gamr92 has the link, and if you guys want it, I can put it on my last.fm. I might be back on here soon...I've been in contact with customer service, and I'm waiting for another reply from them. We'll see what's up. I don't even want to be on GS so much as I want to interact with OTB. oh and for those of you that think my list is wack, i pity you and your ears that enjoy that kid cudi garboColt45fool

[QUOTE="Orlando_Magic"][QUOTE="gamr92"]

BTH>>>50% of the albums on the cIassics list.

gamr92

Like which albums? I guess you could say albums like Das EFX- Dead Serious or Kool G Rap 4, 5, 6 but both of those albums shouldn't have been voted in anyways...

Well, obviously, Id rather bump BTH than any album on that list. Except for, maybe, Illmatic.

I believe that, BTH is a much more enjoyable and superior album than albums like Breaking Atoms, Dead Serious, Madvillainy, Endtroducing, Donuts (Sorry Cali), The Score, Dah Shinin, 6 Feet Deep, The Slim Shady LP, and Nocturnal. Im sure there are other sub-par albums on that list, but I cant say Ive bumped every album on there. Im not saying that these albums are bad, some of them do have classic tracks on them. But, the problem with these albums is that they have too many skippable tracks.

BTH at the very least deserves a nomination. Since MANY of the albums that have been nominated in the past are laughable.

you act like pooz went and nominated a DJ Khaled album or something :P

If Tha Carter II (lol pooz) can be nominated, BTH can be nominated so I'm down for that

But for saying Doggystyle has skippable tracks?

Toriko42
Carter II ****s all over that snoozefest, and anyone with half a brain could see that.

I'd rather listen to Soulja Boy's discography than that Below The Heavens yawnfest.
