All i see is the pot calling the kettle black. There is violence in a lot of different forms of media these days. Books can be the worst because they bring about using one's mind to conjure the images of the violence.
The true culprit everyone these days who has a media ear to speak into has neglected, is the mental stability of the individuals who do these heinous acts. Stop pointing fingers at something that has absolutely no correlation to these things.
I picked this game up a few days ago and it is the first etrian odyssey i have played. It sucked me in much like it's predecessors, games like shining the holy ark did back when. I also appreciate the challenge present within the game as well. Some FOE's and bosses require some preparation to fight.
This game is the reason i am getting a 3ds now rather than later. Though there are several games on my radar for the 3ds as well which include the recently announced project x zone that is coming to america, and more than likely braverly default will make it's way over here too.
@beast70 I say it in whole because you don't find this kind of reaction elsewhere. I don't think a majority of americans do, but the country itself wants to take the fight to games.
I continue to find it amusing that america wants to believe that games are the reason for violent acts. It still is amusing how video games continue to be the form of entertainment that is constantly under a microscope of scrutiny when it has been proven not to be the cause.
Let's identify the real reasons these tragedies occur, not look to blame something just because the negligent parenting occurs.
It had nothing to do with GW2 nor MoP. The game is utter crap, and then they have the lack of common sense to charge a sub fee and then have a cash shop. Funcom should stop trying to see with $.$ and with some sense.
@sodiumpentathol It's done in association with paradox which ... wait for it.... helped with Mount and blade. Research at least lowers the chance of being made a fool.
