Says the guy who covers grown men getting paid millions to play a game... It's all entertainment.

@sukthefac: I'm guessing you're a bit late to the party, that or you failed the reading part of English. I already stated at the beginning of my last paragraph that there are predator practices and listed some examples. It's those who go around thinking everyone's goodwill is predatorial by default.
Also being cynical is a constant state of being giving no quarter that anyone is capable of doing good which there are still games done by developers who don't go around nickel and diming their player base. So if i'm not cynical that's fine by me, am i cautious of those practices and avoid them, yes, but cynical, i'd rather not be.
@sukthefac: A cynical 30 year old gamer. I guess you don't pay attention to the fact that developers cut content from the game with the intention of selling it as 1-5$ DLC to add that little bit to your gaming experience. Nevertheless the fact that their paid DLC will add substantially more than just about any developer out there.
Also having "experience" under your belt doesn't mean you can just assume that the dlc was cut from the game. There are many ideas that they go through in character, quest, and item design that simply just doesn't make it into the game. If that were the case, developers would never release a game. Take a look at star citizen for one, hell they don't even have a publisher to push them to release the game but they keep adding ideas that will probably never see the light of day much less the entire base game itself.
Has the gaming industry made a lot of stupidly dirty moves when it comes to DLC? Yes, they have Evolve, CoD, yearly installments of sports games which are basically roster updates to name a few. However you can't go around spitting out that every developers good will is in essence a cheap ploy to get your money another way.
@jhcho2: However there is, but it's only in certain weapons. Vibro weapons in the star wars universe are made with a weave that are meant to withstand lightsaber strikes. However this is not something the jedi use in lightsaber construction which is why you see them cut in various films.
It's not far off to think that the new lightsaber is constructed as such.
If sega was to really get serious, take shining force back to it's SRPG roots, get camelot to do it. I'd be won over then.
Seeing a few comments regarding it's only got one game, so it's not worth upgrading. Well, for those who like using the 3D on the system, the second infared camera makes using it much easier on the eyes since you don't have to look at it from one angle without moving. Also quite a few games look sharper on the new 3DS as well and even if it's a little nub, you get a second analog.
The slightly longer battery life, switch to micro SD, and the ZR and ZL positions which still function as L and R on older games is more comfortable, are a few other things that add up. My only gripe with the New 3DS is that you have to go into settings to turn off the wireless if you're not using it.
There's also people who got emailed to apply, which is funny because from what i've seen if you do get emailed to apply you pretty much get in.
@Arkhalipso: Oh yes i know, as a long time gamer i've played a good amount of female lead games. However it's still an issue as presented in this article in how they needed to hire outside help to test if a female lead should be used.
@spartanx169x: I'm in said demograph and i don't act like a degenerate towards females. There's no excuse for it. Yeah it's fine when you're in your teens especially late teens due to hormones, but again, no excuse for it in said demograph.
