Very true, unfortunately the ones calling the shots often only care about earning as much money as possible, sometimes this drive leads to efficiency and high quality standards and continuous improvement, other times it ends up leading to bad business practice, screwing over customers and corruption.
Good point, this happens with a lot of games where the developers are forced to add multiplayer & dlc or in some cases change the entire genre of the game to appeal to casual gamers.
Aliens colonial marines is a good example of publisher interference, despite the developers disagreement they were told to make the game more like cod, resulting in gamers fighting humans throughout large parts of the game rather than aliens.
I dont get why writers complain about stories not being good enough, if they think it could be better then why dont they do something about it? it's they're job, so if they want change then they should make it happen rather than complaining to everyone else.
@Janpieterzun @megakick Sorry but that's just stupid, addiction to gaming is hardly a big issue, whereas drugs have destroyed so many lives. Gaming is no where near as devastating as drugs are. Even if drugs were not addictive they still cause a lot of damage to the body and brain and yes people would still take them addicted or not, some people even die from their first use, so yes the substance is an issue aswell as addiction.

@jameson425 maybe by the time our great, great, great grandchildren are gaming the kick-starter will finally reach its goal, but im hoping that EA will have died long before then.
Oh EA i cant say i ever truly liked you, but you seem to be drifting further and further away from making games for actual gamers, instead targeting the casual crowd, the type of people who think playing angry birds for 5 minutes on the train to work or picking up a controller for half an hour on the weekends means they are a gamer (and posting on facebook "omg im such a nerd LOL") *sigh* smh.
"The vocal minority lashed out at freemium" Well done EA you actually noticed, you see i assumed you had no idea how hated you are else you would stop your ways, but nope, you have been listening, it's just that you decide to ignore our protests, well that shows how much we really mean to you.
No EA you do not respect or understand us, that's the problem you're disconnected from gamers, you hear the complaints but your greed blocks them from registering, all you can think about is getting closer towards your new sports car or holiday home in France, even if it means screwing over your customers.
Well im actually hoping that you will drift away entirely from core games and focus on your new fans, leaving core games to be made by those who actually care about their fans and making quality products.
EA you have lost all respect from gamers, you are not wanted, please leave, find some other industry to destroy if you must (preferably something nobody gives a crap about if you could), just stay away from games, it is not suited to you, it would be much appreciated.
*Sigh* in every review you get a bunch of people saying the game is overrated and others saying under, and guys screaming they'll never visit GS again...gets tiring after a while.
Everyone is allowed their own opinion, i dont see how it makes any difference to you, if you like a game then you like it but that doesn't mean everyone else has to, if it bothers you so much then why not review it yourself? but dont cry about it when someone disagrees .
Also it seemed that nobody actually wanted multiplayer in this game, so marking it down in reviews could hopefully make developers see that its not necessary to tack on multiplayer in every game.
