Hang on and think about this for a second please. In one thread you were telling me that CoD is an awesome game, now you're saying you hope Iga dosn't screw up the next game like he screwed up CoD. If you're going to have your own opinion that's awesome, but please keep some consistancy in that opinion.propyro
Ok, just to clear things up, the only thing that I didn't like about CoD, was that they came up with a main character that was alot like Alucard from SotN, and he had almost all the stuff that Alucard had, except for his special moves and abilities, and it just looked like a Symphony of the Night clone to me after I finished beating it as Hector, and unlocked Trevor Belmont at the very end, and I highly disagreed with the way they had Dracula look in that game as well, even though they almost got every single detail of him right for the game, but he would've looked alot cooler if they didn't give him gray hair or a grey mustache!! So, technically, the game did have a few flaws that I noticed right after beating it for the first time, and I just don't think that we really need to see a new Castlevania game whenever it comes out, trying to look like a clone of SotN, and try and accomplish what that game did when it was originally released, and then put into the Playstation's 'Greatest Hits' collection, and I just think that IGA is trying too hard to outdue SotN by trying to create a decent clone of the game with every new game that comes out in Japan, and here in North America as well. And I strongly think that IGA should just quit trying to make a decent and successful clone of SotN, and that there really isn't any need for a SotN clone to begin with in the first place!!

[QUOTE="Gamegerdude0752"]I sure as hell hope that IGA won't scre the next game up like he did with Curse of Darkness!! Please let there be a cool and decent 3-D Castlevania game without it trying to be a Symphony of the Night clone like some of the others have so far!!propyro
Didn't you just tell me that CoD was amazing in another thread? Go home and get your own opinion and keep it rather than jumping around so much.

Hey, Propyro, I'm just voicing my opinions, and if you don't like what I have to say, keep you're piehole shut and save you're negative comments and opinions for something worth complaining about!!

I'm going to have to ask you to keep the number of dumb things you say on this board to a minimum Mr. Gamegerdude0752. I don't want to have to start editing out stupidity from people's posts.propyro
Excuse me, but what I have been saying is not dumb whatsoever, and 100% true, and is just my opinion!! And what is stupid about what I was saying anyhow?? That game was very hard at times, and that was why I decided to use the Gameshark codes for it to make it alot more easier!! If you have a problem with my opinions, then just don't read them oh, high superior officer that thinks he's so cool by putting down people that just post their opinions!!

curse of darkness was a average action adventure game that felt a lot like devil may cry with familiars instead of devil trigger. On it's own it would have been a decent or atleast mediocer game. But as soon as you try to associate it with Castlevania it falls short of living up to it's pedigree by quite a long shot, I thought that lament of Innocnece was a better game than CoD.propyro
Excuse me, Curse of Darkness is not average in anyway, and it didn't feel like Devil May Cry in anyway either. It's a great and terrific game, despite what you say about it! And how dare you call it decent and meiocre, it's not anything like that!!The level design and graphics, along with the story are amazing, and the music is incredable! Lament of Innocence is a very excellent game, and Curse of Darkness is a great follow up to Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse for the classic NES. I don't see anyway of that game falling short of living up to it's pedigree like you said!! I don't have any problem with Lament of Innocence though!!

id like to see simon but soma cruz (i know not a belmont) would be interesting... they are going to screw the movie up anyways...falconclan
I know you haven't been paying any attention, or haven't read the article about what the movies going to be about, but the movie is going to be directed by Paul Anderson, the same guy who directed the first Mortal Kombat movie, so I don't think there's anyway that he is going to screw up the movie!!

[QUOTE="Gamegerdude0752"]I know that the 2D Castlevania games have been around for a long time, so I would prefer them alot more over the 3D Castlevania games, although Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness were good and solid games with the whole 3D aspect. And I agree that IGA is trying way too hard to make a Symphony of the Night clone with each new Castlevania game that is being made and released. It would be very cool to have a remake in 3D with the same story and everything, as well as try and get all the same voice actors back together, except for the guy that did the voice for the "Master Librarian" in the 2D version of the game!! Because with 2D, you only get to see a little bit of the character's description and alot of other stuff, but in 3D, they have a lot better looking descriptions to them, and stuff like their movements, body language, and lots of other stuff, plus you get to see their facial expressions in 3D as well, so I don't think that 3D is all that bad like alot of people think it is. It would be very cool if Konami could go back and remake the first 3 games in the series with 3D, and then have the 2D versions as unlockables after you beat them the first time! And when they remake the music for those games, they can have a big orchestra record all of the classic and famous tunes, and then have both the 2D and 3D versions of the music for Castlevania 3 and put them in the 'Sound Select' option, and the code to access it would be the same as it was for the NES version of the game, but you would have to enter it differently depending on which console you currently own! Now those ideas would be very, very awesome!!Geusprime

Konami hasn't done anything NEW with the series since SOTN. I hardly think that remaking 2-D titles is encouraging Iga to actually do something creative with the series. There's been a fundamental change in the series since SOTN and I think Konami needs to take a giant step back. I don't care if the game are in 2-D or 3-D. That's not what makes a good game. I think the only saving grace to Koji Igarashi is the fact that Castlevania still has amazing music and beatiful art. Without this, I see recent titles being little more than budget bin games.I think that the only thing the series needs is a new director.

Konami has done some cool  new things with the series since SOTN faithful stuck up leader!! WTF is wrong with adding new elements and some other cool things to the series like they did with Lament of Innocence?, not a damn thing!! Konami doesn't need to take a step back, and I don't care if the games are in 2-D or 3-D, but putting dwarf or elf ears on Dracula and giving him grey hair and a grey mustache is totally, and incredibly stupid!! The music and the art are still beautiful and amazing though. Besides the fact that Koji Igarashi is the guy that is responsible for those 2 things, he needs to quit trying to come up with these Symphony of the Night clones, and try and come up with new ideas for the series if he wants to keep his job as a producer for the series, and he needs to quit trying to give Dracula this ridiculous make-over almost everytime that he appears in a new game, and stick with the traditional looks that he had in the pervious games like Bloodlines and Castlevania 2: Belmont's Revenge for the Game Boy, as well as Super Castlevania 4, and Rondo of Blood for the PC!! And I think that the series does need a new director also!!

= / These are more elven ears than dwarven. And we really don't care what dracula looks like, it's more a problem with what he's been doing by consistantly degrading the quality of the game with every new release on consoles.propyro
Dwarf ears, elf ears, they look the same to me. And I do care about what Dracula looks like mind you!! Seriously, I wouldn't wanna play a Castlevania game even if Dracula did look a little bit different in terms of appearence. And there's no problem whatsoever with what he's been doing, he's just playing out his part in the story for each time he appears in a Castlevania game!! And how in the hell can he be consistantly degrading the quality of the game with every new release on the consoles?? There are alot of differences about the 2D games that have been around for a long time, and the 2 3D games that have been around for a while, We definitely need to give the 3D games a chance and see how they turn out in the future!!

well at least he didn't rape Dawn of Sorrow as badly as he did with CoD.propyro
Hey, Curse of Darkness was a great game in my opinion, despite that IGA gave Dracula grey hair and a grey mustache for no stupid reason, and the maps were very large and everything!! And he could have come up with a better main character than Hector, who looks almost exactly like Alucard, and we sure as hell don't need another Alucard!! Curse of Darkness sure was a great game for me to get, so despite some of the negative stuff, don't anybody else go around dissing Curse of Darkness!!!!

Castlevania Adventure was a big disappointment indeed!! I downloaded a ROM copy of it for the Virtual Advance emulator, and it was just terrible. I'm so glad I stayed away from that awful piece of crap when it was out for the regular Game Boy, and went with Belmont's Revenge!!
