you just have to time it, it is kinda difficult to get individuals with but easier for tanks and vehicles. Also on the controls, I find it alot easier to control in the 1st person inside the cockpit instead of in 3rd.
starting on friday, once each system community gets 43 million kills/deaths they get a 4th map called Coral Sea which is a dogfight only map with planes, should be awesome
Old news, and to the above poster it is 43 million kills combined on the 360 and ps3.

The totals from the 360 and PS3 aren't combined to get 43 million, they're independent and therefore a race to see which system gets there first.
Gamers will initially have access to three maps that were inspired by battlegrounds found in 2002's Battlefield 1942: Wake Island, Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima. According to EA Dice, a fourth map--Coral Sea--will be unlocked as a part of a "worldwide community challenge," in which players must "work together to reach 43,000,000 kills" across the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of the game. "When a consoles community unlocks it they can play it regardless where the other console is at towards unlocking theirs."
